3rd Person's POV: Summer vacation was close to being finished and Haru was reading some manga in his room. "~Sigh~ I'm so bored right now. Even reading manga isn't doing it for me. Good thing summer vacation will be over but until then, I have nothing that I want to do." Haru looked up at his ceiling and watched the fan spin until Haru's eyes started to get heavy but just before he could fall asleep, his phone went off, causing him to sit up. Haru checked the caller I.D and saw it was Asami. "I wonder what she's caring me about. Hello?" "Hi Haru, are busy at the moment?" "Uh no. Why are you asking?" "I was wondering if you wanted to go to the summer festival with us." "Summer festival." 'Right, our town holds a summer festival at the end of summer. I didn't get to go last year because I got sick, so it would be nice to go. But there's chance something embarrassing could happen to me. I really want to go but there's a chance that things will not end well for me or it could end bad for me as well.' "Haru? Are you there?" Haru snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Asami speak. "Yeah I'm still here." "Ok. So, do you wanna go or not. You don't have to go if you're not interested." Haru thought for a bit before giving his answer. "I'm going." "Really? Great! I'll tell the others that you're coming." "Ok, you do that." Haru hung up and was about to leave to get himself a yukata when Yuki spoke up.

"Where are you going?" asked Yuki as she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes, having just woken up from her nap. "I got invited to the summer festival and I was gonna go get a yukata." said Haru "Oh, if that's the case, you don't have to do that. I'll get you one." "Really?" "Yup. One second." Yuki disappeared from Haru's sight, leaving him alone in his room. "Ok... I'll just, read my manga." Haru continued to read his manga as he waited for Yuki. A few minutes went by and Yuki was back, only now, she held a box in her paws. "I'm back and I have your yukata." "Thanks but where did you get that. From the mall?" "Not all. I instead went to the spirit realm to get you a yukata personally made." "Wait, did you just say spirit realm?" "I sure did. That's where all ghost, yokai and other non mortal creatures live, well when they're not in the human realm that is. But enough about that. Tada!" Yuki opened the box and revealed a dark blue yukata. "Wow! It looks so cool!" "Mmh hmm. And the best part is that it's all yours." "Thanks Yuki, I really appreciate this." "Ah, it was nothing. So when is this festival starting?" "Hold on. Asami told me it starts at 6:00." "Alright than let's get you ready than."

~Time Skip brought to you by Yuki helping Haru~

It was time for the festival to start and Haru headed to the meeting place to wait for the group. The meeting spot was close to where the festival was taking place, so there were plenty of people around. As Haru waited for the others to show up, he talked with Yuki and asked more about the spirit realm. 'The spirit realm is the place between mortals and immortals. As I said before, ghost, yokai and other non mortal creatures live.' said Yuki 'Do gods live in the spirit realm as well?' asked Haru 'Oh no, gods live in a completely different realm. But that doesn't mean that they can't visit the spirit realm, they can do that when they're not busy with their duties. On the other hand, members of the spirit realm can't go to the spirit realm when they want to, they have to either be invited by a god or work for that god to go there. A good example would be the kitsune that work under Inari, since they're job involves sending message and such, they can go to and from the god realm.' 'Wow, I had no idea it was like that. Hey; Yuki you were worshipped before, does that make you a god?' 'Technically yes but I was a minor god, so I didn't hang in the god realm much. I preferred to be in the spirit realm since I didn't feel out of place when there.' 'Ah.' "Hey guys! We're here!" Haru and Yuki looked in the direction for the shout and saw the girls in their yukatas, all of them looks beautiful in their own unique way.

"Hey guys, good to see you here." said Haru "Sorry we took so long, we had to take a bit of a detour because of crowds but we're here now." said Kanako "How do we look? These yukatas aren't as fancy as the ones we wore at the beach but they should look nice." said Nanami "You guys look great. Though, you're already pretty without the yukatas. Haru's innocent comment caused the girls to blush a little from what he said. 'Hey, are we gonna have a fun time at the festival or what?' "Huh? Who said that?" asked Chiyoko "Oh, that's was Yuki. She uses telepathy to talk to us when out in public." said Hana "Yuki makes a point though. Let's go have some fun." And so, the group headed of into the festival. As they walked, they saw several other people in their yukatas and many stands that hosted a game or served food. "So what do you guys want to do first?" asked Haru "How about we play some games to work up an appetite." suggested Kanako "That sounds like fun. What should we play first though?" said Megumi "Oh! Look, there's a shooting game over. Let's try it out!" And so the group headed over to the stall. While some of the girls decided to try a round, others just wanted to watch. As Nanami was trying to steady her aim, Hana noticed a certain prize; a stuffed bat with multicolored hearts on it. "Oh my gosh, it's Dusky Bat!" "Dusky Bat? You mean that old mascot?" asked Haru "Yes! I've always wanted a plush of him but I was never able to get one. But this is my chance to get him." "Well in that case, here you go." said Nanami as she handed the gun to Hana.

Hana looked really excited to get the stuffed bat, only to feel defeated after failing to hit her prize. "Man, I was so close." "You know Hana, if you want, I can try to get that toy if you want." "You'd really do that for me? Oh thank you Haru!" Haru paid the man running the stall and picked up the gun, ready to take his shot. As Haru stared at the toy bat, he closed his eyes for a bit before opening them and taking the shot. The cork went flying as it struck Dusky, causing him to fall of the shelf, therefore claiming his prize. "Alright! You got him Haru, you got him! Thank you so much!" "Oh it was nothing." After that, the group continued to play more games like; the ring toss, yo-yo fishing, katanuki and even goldfish scooping! (Haru was the only one to actually get a goldfish). After a small while, the group got hungry and decided split up to get their food and meet at the dog statue. The girls were the first ones to meet up again. Hana got a choco banana, Asami got a corn on the cob, Chiyoko got okonomiyaki, Kanako got yakisoba noodles, Megumi got yakitori, Nanami got shaved ice and Sakura got a candied apple. When Haru finally showed, he had a bunch a food with him! "Wow Haru! Are you gonna eat all that?" asked Chiyoko in concern for his stomach "This not all for me, most of it is for Yuki. She asked me to get her some food and she happens to be a big eater." said Haru "Ah." "Anyways, let's go to a more secluded area so Yuki doesn't risk being spotted."

And so the group went to an area where there weren't a lot of people around, so Yuki made herself visible and started eating, which caused the girls to stare a little bit. "Hmm? What is it?" asked Yuki "Oh it's nothing. How's the food?" said Sakura "Oh, it's pretty good. The food in the human is pretty tasty compared to some of the dishes in the spirit realm." "I see..." After the group finished eating, they continued to walk and look around. Eventually, it was now time for the festival firework show and they were lucky to get a good spot to view. As they waited, Haru thought back to the summer he had and couldn't help smile. 'While there were some things I would like to be different, this has been a pretty great summer. Though, it's mostly thanks to my friends that I was able to have such a good time. I'm really lucky to have such good friends. ' "Hey Haru, why you smile?" asked Hana "Oh nothing, I was just thinking happy thoughts." Soon the firework show started and the group were able to kick of their final days of the summer with a bang.
