3rd Person's POV: Summer has come to an end and that of course means the start of school. For many students, that is a bad thing because that means they have to go back to school but for others, that means they have a chance to see their friends again. For Haru, it's a mixture of both, as while he's happy to hangout with friends at school again, he also has to deal with his so-called 'fans'. "It's a new school term, so I should start it with a good attitude." said Haru as he, Hana and Asami walked to school. "That's a good mindset to have Haru. Start something with a positive attitude." said Hana "Thanks Hana." As they got closer to the school, they saw several students talking with one another about something. "I wonder what they're talking about?" asked Asami. That's when they heard a familiar voice scream, "Hey guys!" They looked behind them and saw Megumi running towards, just as the gate was being shut. Before the gate could close, Megumi jumped up, grabbed the gate and got over it, before doing a tuck roll and landing on her feet. "I made it!" cheered Megumi "Barely. Megumi, be sure to be here before the gate is about to close." said Chiyoko, clearly annoyed by Megumi's action "Sorry, I overslept. I promise to be here on time." "You better." Megumi ran over to the trio and told them something as they headed inside. "Hey guys, did you hear the rumors?" "What rumors?" asked Hana "The rumors about a new transfer student. I heard that they're from a foreign country." "Really? Well, if the rumors are true, I hope they have a good time here." said Haru. Megumi waved goodbye as she headed to her class while the trio headed to their's.

As they waited in their classroom for class to start, Mr. Okamoto walked and told everyone to settle down. "Alright everyone, I have some news to tell you. We have a new transfer student who will be joining us today and I should let you also know that she is from a different country, so her Japanese may not be perfect but don't do anything that will hurt her feelings, ok? Alright now, you can come in now." The door opened and the transfer student walked in. The students were left breathless as she stood in front of the class. Her long hair shined like golden, her eyes were green as a forest, her skin had a healthy shine to it. "Hi, I'm Iris Williams. It's nice to meet you all." All of the students (except Asami) looked at Iris in confusion as they didn't understand what she had just said. Iris realized her mistake and introduced herself again, only this time in Japanese. "Oh, my bad. Hi, I'm Iris Williams. It's nice to meet you all." The students sighed in relief, knowing that she can speak Japanese. "I'm from the UK, England to be specific but due to my father's work, we had to move here. Please treat me well." "Now, are there anything questions you would like to ask Ms. Williams?" asked Mr. Okamoto and in an instant, several hands shot up. "What was it like living in England?" asked one student "It was pretty nice. My family happened to live in a town not far away from London, so we would sometimes go there as a little trip." "Is it always raining in England?" "It's not always raining but it's more often than not cloudy. We do get some nice sunny days every now and again." "Do you have a boyfriend?" "I believe that's a bit personal."

"Alright, that's enough questions. Ms. Williams, your seat will be in front of Sato. Sato, raise your hand." Haru did what he was told and Iris sat down in front of him. "Now that that's out of the way, let's get on with class." As class started, Haru was writing down notes when Iris tapped on his desk, grabbing his attention. "Hello Sato, it's nice to meet you." said Iris "Uh, nice to meet you too." Haru awkwardly replied. "Do you think you can help me understand Japanese culture and other things I might need help with?" "Uh, sure why not." "Thank you, I deeply appreciate it." Iris turned back around and took notes, leaving Haru alone with his thoughts. 'Never thought I would be talking to someone from a different country but I guess anything can happen when you least expect it.' Class continued on until it was time for a break. Once Mr. Okamoto gave permission to talk to one another, a group of students surrounded Iris, asking her questions and complimenting her looks. While that was happening, Haru, Yuki, Hana and Asami simply watched the scene unfold before them. 'This kinda reminds me of my first days of school.' thought Haru 'It's kinda nostalgic in a way.' replied Hana. Eventually, the break ended and class continued on as normal.

It was no lunchtime and the group decided to eat on one of the rooftops of the school. "It's so nice up here. I like it when we switch up where we eat." said Megumi as she took a bite of her bento "It is really nice. Oh by the way, the new transfer student is in your class right? What is she like?" asked Chiyoko. "She's polite. And very hardworking." said Hana "And her Japanese is pretty fluent." said Asami. "It's pretty cool that we now have a transfer student from a different country here." said Nanami. As the group continued to talk to one another, the door to the roof opened and when they turned around, they saw Iris standing there, holding her lunch. 'Speak of the devil.' Was all Haru could think of as he and his friends stared at Iris, who looked surprised to see someone else here. "Oh, hello. I wasn't expecting to see anybody. I'll take my leave." said Iris as she turned around to leave. "Wait! You don't have to leave, you can stay!" cried out Haru, surprising Iris and the others. "You mean it?" "Of course. This roof can be used by anyone, so you can have your lunch up here." said Chiyoko "Oh. Well, thank you for telling me that." Iris sat a few inches away from the group and proceeded to eat her lunch. As she ate lunch, she couldn't help but occasionally glance at the group, only to be caught by Haru, causing her to look away quickly. "You can have lunch if you want." Iris looked over at Haru, who had a friendly smile on his face and was patting the ground to show she can sit there.

While a little hesitant, Iris sat with the group and started eating lunch with them. "So, Williams, how has your day been? Wait would you prefer to be called by your first name instead?" asked Kanako "Oh, you can call me Iris if you want but Williams is fine too. And to answer your question, my day has been going pretty well. Though I have to say, learning Japanese was pretty tough but I think I'm getting the hang of it." said Iris as she took a bite of her sandwich "Really? But you're speaking like you've known the language your whole life." said Chiyoko "Well that's because I practiced really hard to make sure I wouldn't make any mistakes when I spoke to others. Even though it's decent, I think I need to work on it a bit more." "Oh no, you're fine Iris. It's nice to hear someone working so hard to speak Japanese." said Sakura. Iris couldn't help but smile at how nice the group was being to her. "It makes me happy to hear that. Well, I best be on my way. I hope we can talk later. Cheerio." The group watched Iris take her leave as she walked through the door leading downstairs. "Something tells me we're gonna have a new friend to add to our group." said Haru "You can say that again." said Megumi. At that moment, Yuki made herself visible to the group. "If she's going to be a part of our group, she'll have to know about me, right?" Everyone simply sighed and said at the same time, "We know."
