3rd Person's POV: A week or so had passed and it was officially the day of the sports festival. Many students were excited to participate and so off their skills, Haru was one of those people. Haru was currently doing stretches and making sure he was ready for anything. "Woah Haru, you sure look pumped." said Hana as she watched her friend continue with his stretching. "You best believe it Hana. The sports festival has always been a favorite of mine in school. Not only do we not have to go to class, this gives me a chance to show what I'm made of." said Haru as he took a deep breath. "Quite the competitive spirit you got there." said Asami "I guess you can put it that way." "I don't blame you for being excited, I feel the same way. Especially since this is my very first sports festival." said Iris "Well, try not to get too distracted from the event." "Right." The sound of an air horn cut through the air, signaling that the festival was going to start. "Testing, testing. One, two. Hello everyone and welcome to Toyama Academy's Sport festival. I'm your announcer, Fumo Kokiko and right beside me is our headmaster, Ms. Suzuki, who will act as our V.I.P for today." "It's very nice to be here. May all of you do your best today." said Ms. Suzuki in a polite voice. "Alright everyone, here's how it's going to work, every group will have a chance to win points during each of the events and the group that wins the most points shall be declared the winners of the sports festival. Now that we got that out of the way, it's time to start the sports festival!" The crowd cheered with joy after hearing that. "Alright everyone, let's win this for class 1-A!" "Yeah!" Haru, Hana and Asami looked at their classmates as they all cheered.

"Let's just do our best, ok guys." said Haru, with the girls nodding in agreement. "The first event is the five meter dash. Runners, head to the starting line and get into position." said Kokiko "I'm the one of the runners. Wish me luck guys." said Hana as she headed to the start line. "Do your best Hana!" "Give it you all." "Break a leg." Once all the runners were in place, the race was ready to start. "On your mark. Get set. Go!" *BANG* And the runners took off. Hana was running at a very fast pace and looked like she was about to take first place. "Go Hana go!" "Come on Hana, you can do it!" The finish line was close and Hana and another racer were neck at neck. 'Come on Hana, you can do this.' thought Hana to herself as she pushed herself a little bit more and crossed the finish line. "And the winner of the race is Class 1-A!" Hana smiled with joy hearing the announcement, which was followed by the cheers of her friends and classmates. "Way to go Hana!" said Haru as he patted her back. "You were incredible." said Asami as she handed Hana a water bottle, "You did great." said Iris as she gave a thumbs up. "Thanks guys, your support really makes me happy." said Hana as she took a sip of her water. "Next up is the three-legged race." announced Kokiko. "I'm one of the runners." said Iris, "Who's your partner?" asked Haru "That would be me." said a boy with brown hair that covered his eyes. "Hello Takashi, are you ready to race?" "Ready as I'll ever be." "Alright then, let's go!" Once all the runners had their feet tied and were at the starting line, the race started.

While Iris and Takashi were doing good, we're lagging behind, mostly due to Takashi being incredibly nervous from being so close to a girl that wasn't family. They ended in second place. "I'm sorry I couldn't run any faster." said Takashi as he bowed his head "It's fine Takashi. You did your best. Besides, being in second place just means that we were close to taking first. So don't feel bad." said Iris as she patted Takashi's back. The next event to take place was the scavenger hunt and a female classmate named Haini was the one to take part in the hunt. As the starting went off and the hunt began, Haru sat down on the ground and was in deep thought. 'Today is the day Haru. Today is the day that you show everyone you're not a fragile person but someone who can pull their weight. I just need to wait for that moment where I can help my class win something.' Suddenly, a shadow covered Haru and he saw it was Haini, who looked a little embarrassed. "Um Haru, can you come with me for a bit?" asked Haini shyly "Uh, sure." The two tan towards the teacher who was in charge of the scavenger hunt and Haini handed them the note in her hand. The teacher looked at the note, then at Haru before nodding their head and declaring Class-A the winner of the scavenger hunt. As Haini and Haru walked back, Haru asked what the note said. Haini looked embarrassed before she told him. "The note said find something cute and you were the first thing that came to mind." While Haru was happy he was able to help, he was a little sad that it was only because of his cuteness. 'Whatever, the sports day isn't over yet and I still have a chance to prove myself.' thought Haru with excitement. Throughout the first half of sports day, Class 1-A were able to do pretty well but currently stuck in second place with Class 1-C being in first place.

"Alright everyone, it's time for a break period. The games will resume after everyone fills their stomach. Thank you for working so hard!" announced Kokiko. Now that it was officially break time, Haru set down a blanket large enough for him, Hana, Asami and Iris to sit on before pulling out his bento box. The girls looked at the bento with amazement. "Wow Haru, this looks so good." said Iris.

"Thanks Iris

"Thanks Iris. I knew I needed a lot of energy today, so I decided to make my special 'energizer' bento. You guys can have some of it if you want." said Haru as he started to eat, "Thanks Haru, that's really nice of you." said Hana "Mmh! This is delicious. You're quite the cook." said Asami as she took a bite. "Thanks Asami, makes me happy to hear that." As the group ate and talked with each other, a familiar voice was heard. "Oh my darling Haru~!" Haru jolted in horror and slowly turned around, only to see it was none other than Kaito. "Oh no." whispered Haru. Kaito walked over to them and sat near Haru, causing him to scoot back. "Uh, hello Kaito, is there something you need?" asked Hana as politely as possible. "Well, I simply wanted to see how my dear Haru was doing." said Kaito "Well as you can see, I'm fine. Now can you please leave." said Haru. "Oh come now there's no need to be so cold Haru. I was thinking that we could take this as a chance to get close to each other." As soon as those words left his mouth, Kaito received a powerful punch, courtesy of Haru, who went back to eating after Kaito fell back. "Let's eat quickly so we can be ready for the next events." said Iris awkwardly. "Right." And so, the group ate quickly and packed up, getting ready for the rest of the sports festival.

Author's Note: Sorry for taking such a long time, I promised to post more and ended spending most of my Thanksgiving break goofing off but I'm back. I decided to make this a two parter because I felt it would be too long for just one chapter. I'll try to post the second part as soon as possible. Bye~
