3rd Person's POV: It was an ordinary day for the Sato family, at least at the beginning. The day started out normal, the family woke up, Haru cooked breakfast and they went about their day. However, it wasn't until Haru started walking to school with Hana did he realize something. "Uh Hana, what day is it?" asked Haru in a very stiff voice, confusing Hana "Uh, it's October 16. Why do you ask?" asked Hana. Haru stopped walking, his school bag falling to the ground. That's when Haru looked up to the sky and screamed out. "Oh! My! God! Today is Midori's birthday!!!" We cut to later in the day during lunch and we see the group sitting in a courtyard talking. "Today is Midori's birthday?" questioned Megumi "That's right. I can't believe I forgot about it. What a horrible brother I am." said Haru as he put his hand on his and sighed in sadness "Hey now, do be like that. You remembered it before the day was over so that's a good thing." said Hana "It doesn't change the fact that I forgot about it. And what's worse is that I have no idea what to give or what to do for her birthday. Man~." The group was silent for a bit before Kanako snapped her fingers. "Well, it's official, we're gonna help you plan a surprise party." "Huh?" The entire group was surprised by what Kanako had said. "A surprise party?" said Sakura "Yeah! A surprise party. We can plan a party for her birthday, it will be great." "While that does sound like a good idea, there's just one issue. How are we gonna keep her distracted long enough for us to plan her a party?" said Nanami "Wait! I know someone who might just be able to help us with that." Haru pulled out his phone and made a call. The phone rang a few before it was answered. "Hey Tomoko, I have a favor to ask of you."

Midori's POV: Hey, my name is Midori Sato and I am an ordinary middle schooler. Well, one thing that's unusual about me and that's my family. My parents are pretty normal and my sister is ok (expert for fact that she's obsessed with seeing boys crossdressing), it's my brother that's abnormal. You see, my brother Haru is girly looking, in fact he's so girly looking that he could easily be mistaken for a girl. But other than that, he's a very nice person and an awesome brother. Anyways, today is my 14th birthday and I'm kinda curious about what's in store for me. As I walked home from school, I suddenly heard a voice from behind. "Midori!" I turned around and saw it was none other than Tomoko. "Oh, hey Tomoko. Funny seeing you here. I thought you were gonna be in a long lecture today." I said as she walked over to me "It got canceled, so I thought to myself why not go see my little sister. After all, it is your birthday, so why not do something fun." said Tomoko as she put her arm around my shoulder. I thought for a bit and figured hanging out with Tomoko wouldn't hurt. "Alright then, let's go hang out. We can't stay out for too long though. We have to head home before it gets dark." I said as we started walking together "Ok. Let's go!" And so off we went. Tomoko and I spent the next hour or so just hanging out, going to the shops to browse and look at things (I ended up getting a bracelet), getting some takoyaki and just overall, having a fun time. Eventually, it was time for us to return home and as we headed home, I couldn't help but notice that Tomoko was looking more and more excited as we got closer to the house. "Why are you so excited?" I couldn't help but ask and Tomoko simply replied "You'll see." When we got to the house, I saw that all the lights were off. "Why are the lights off? Is Haru not home?" I asked. Tomoko said nothing and walked over to the door, opening it. 'Ok, this is weird. If Haru was not home, the door wouldn't be unlocked, so why is it unlocked?' That was all I could think about as Tomoko and I walked inside.

As soon as we walked inside, the door shut behind me, causing everything to go black. "What the- Hey! What's going on?" I started to freak out a bit because I wasn't sure what was going on. That's when suddenly, the lights turned on and right in front of me was Haru, his friends, mom and dad and they were all wearing party hats while a cake sat on the table, along with other food. "Surprise!" I stood there in shock by what I saw and that shock was soon replaced with happiness. "Happy birthday Midori!" said Haru as he handed me a party hat. "Oh thank you Haru. This is really sweet." I said as I put on the party hat "I'm glad you like it. Me and my friends planned the whole thing while you Tomoko went to hang out." "Haru said he needed some help with preparing the party and asked me to distract you for a bit." said Tomoko as she walked over to me and put her arm around my shoulder "We hope you like it." said Hana "Are you kidding?" I love it." "Well then, let's not just sit here. Let's party!" And that's what we did. I got to celebrate my birthday with my family and my brother's friends and all I can say was that it was a really great birthday. The food was great, the presents were really thoughtful and I had an awesome time. When the party ended and it was time for everyone to head home/ get ready for bed, I said thank you to everyone before heading upstairs to get ready and only one thing was on my mind. 'Thank you Haru. You're an amazing brother.'
