Injured man

Magnolia was going on her dinner break since she work the night shift today, she was heading out to the back of the hospital like always to get to her car and go out to dinner but while she was making her way out from the hospital she saw a man lying outside of the back door. 

"....Sir! Are you alright?" Magnolia called out to him but he had already closed his eye, she had worked at the hospital for 4 years. When she saw him Magnolia got on her walkie and called for help. 

"Someone bring me a stretcher to the back door!" Magnolia said as she applied a first aid kit on him as fast as she could since he got shot in his side. In just a minute three people rolled the stretcher over to her and they helped her get him onto the stretcher. 

"If anyone comes asking about an injured person who got shot, do not tell them. Someone might want to do him more harm, do you understand?" Magnolia asked them and the three of them nodded

"Don't worry, we won't put our patient in danger!" they said to her and they rushed him to the ER room. 

Magnolia could only wait for the surgeon to come to the ER so that she could help assist him in the operation since she is a doctor but she's still hasn't passed the surgeon test just yet so she could only assist him. The operation went on for an hour and he was out of danger so they rolled his stretcher to a room still in the ER room. 

Just like they all thought after they had rolled him into a patient room someone came to their reception to asked about the ER people that they brought in tonight. Magnolia had told everyone that they shouldn't tell anyone that he was brought into the ER if they asked for a name to give the name Steve Lake if they asked for his name or about him. 

Magnolia after she found out that the man that she helped was stabilized and is safe from the people that were chasing him so she went home to her mother and friends. Magnolia went home tucked her mother in bed, took a shower, and went to bed as well. 

The next day even though she didn't work that day, she went in to see how he is. The young man woke up about 5 minutes after she had gone into his room, he looked at her with a confused look.

"Where am I?" He asked her and she smiled at him 

"You're at the hospital, but don't worry about the people who were looking for you last night. I told the workers to not say anything about you." Magnolia said to him and he got up from his bed slowly and she rushed to help him up. Magnolia put pillows under to probed him up, as she moved away from him and smiled at him once again. 

"I am a doctor working at this hospital, I came to check on you today." Magnolia said to him and he nodded

"Can I leave today?" He asked her and she shook her head at him

"If you want to leave then you will have to talk about your discharge with him. If you want you can also call someone to come get you as well." Magnolia said to him 

"Than where are my things?" he asked her and she nodded as she headed to the wardrobe where they kept his things in

"Your suit was washed and dry clean but there is still a hole. Your phone with all of your cards and ID are still here." Magnolia said to him and he nodded 

"Thank you." He said to her as he took the things from her hands, he checked his phone and quickly turned on his phone to call his brother. 

"Come get me at the hospital with mother and father." He said to the person on the phone and he looked at her 

"Can you tell him the address of the hospital?" He asked her and she nodded as she took the phone from him

"Hello?" Magnolia asked and a young man's voice answered her 

"My name is Astor, my brother Pierre is the one that's at the hospital." The young man said to her and she told him the address to the hospital and they hung up on the phone. Magnolia handed the phone back to him 

"I've given him the address, I'll be here until they come here." Magnolia said to him and he smiled at her 

"My name is Pierre and what is your name?" Pierre asked her and she smiled at him 

"My name is Magnolia." Magnolia said to him and he smiled 

"Your name suits you well." He said to her and she smiled 

"Thank you." Magnolia could only say to him as she sat down 

"Oh, I brought these fruits in case you wanted to have some." Magnolia said as she picked up an apple and peeled it for him, she peeled it and handed it to him on a plate. As he was almost done with the apple his family arrived at the door of his room. 

"Pire!" His mother cried out to him as she ran to his side and Magnolia quietly sneaked out from the room to give them some privacy. 

"Doctor lake are you leaving?" A nurse asked her as she was on her way down the hallway 

"Yes, have a good day." Magnolia said to the nurse as she picked up her phone to call her friends

"Bina are you still home?" Magnolia asked Sabina who had come back home from the army

"Yes, I'm home." Sabina said to Magnolia

"I'm on my way home, today is my day off. Is there something that you want to eat today?" Magnolia asked Sabina

"How about we have hotpot for lunch and dinner?" Sabina asked Magnolia who agreed with her friend. Before Magnolia leave, she looked towards his room with a smile and went to the grocery store to buy things for hotpot. She bought veggies, mushrooms meat, some meatballs and she headed home.
