You and Bucky stayed close to the enterance of the castle while the Dora Milaje and the king walked towards a landing jet. That was the same jet that brought you here, to use you for another mission. But this mission was different. You felt free in Wakanda. You felt happy.
"When you said we were going to open Wakanda to the rest of the world, this is not what I imagined." Okoye told T'Challa.
"And what did you imagine?" He asked her.
"The Olympics. Maybe even a Starbucks." She shrugged. The jet landed and spat out some Avengers. You were surpised to see Bruce, it had been so long. Him, Steve and Tony were the nicest to you, though you were older, they saw you as one of their children. You saw Bruce whisper something to Rhodey as they walked down the ramp.
"Seems like I'm always thanking you for something." Steve spoke and shook T'Challa's hand. Bruce cleared his throat and bowed down to T'Challa and Rhodey looked down at him and chuckled.
"Uh, we don't do that here," T'Challa explained and Bruce rised back up to his normal height, an embarassed blush creeping onto his face, "so how big of an assault should we expect?" T'Challa asked and led the group to the palace.
"Sir you should expect quite a big assault." Bruce answered pushing a bit foward through the crowd.
"How we looking?" Nat asked the king.
"You will have my Kingsguard, the Border Tribe, the Dora Milaje and.." T'Challa pointed in you and Bucky's direction.
"Semi-stable 100 year old people," Bucky greeted the team. Steve pulled Bucky in for a hug and you stood awkwardly to the side. You evaded eye contact with the team, except for Bruce. Bruce hugged you tight and explained how much he missed you. You missed him too. He told you about Sakarr and how he was trapped as the Hulk for such a long time. You felt sympathy while he spoke.

Shuri scanned over Vision's body as he laid on the table. She explained that she would need time to save him. Wanda agreed to stay in the lab to help guard the stone. Everyone else was sent to the battlefield, prepared for the worst. The border around Wakanda sensed a threat in the atmosphere. Your heart was in your stomach. You were terrified of this fight.
Bucky sensed your nervousness and you sensed his. His hand held yours and you squeezed it gently. Sam who you've only met once spoke into the comms provided while Bucky nervously eyed the sky. A missile came flying down, it hit the clear barrier turning it blue for only a few seconds.
"God, I love this place." Bucky whispered. He had let go of your hand to grab his gun and you prepared to use your magic to its full potential. More missiles hit the outside of the dome destroying trees and grass and leaving behind a charred landscape.
Ships upon ships and Bruce in the Hulkbuster approached the barrier where an enemy vessel had landed. You and Bucky stood close to Natasha and Steve. He held his rifle jokingly in attempts make you laugh. Natasha gave you a side glance and you felt a blush creep onto your cheeks and the purple hearts returned.
Two aliens approached the tranparent wall and glared evily at the soliders. One had a blue forehead with horns sprouting off and a thick blue line that went from her bottom lip to the end of her chin. She was much shorter than her bulky companion who wore tons of armor. You and Bucky stayed behind as Natasha, Steve and T'Challa approached the threat.
The girl alien raised her sword and behind her, a large ship raised from the ground. You and the soliders watched in terror and Bucky held your hand again. Steve and the others returned to the group.
