yesterday we played some hockey with the group, in the beginning it was still difficult for me but I was clearly not the only one. the group was worse than I expected but the coach said it will be fine

when it was done he brought me back home much later than my mother expected"oh my god y/n you're finally back" my mom said when she saw me i ran over to her and gave her a hug

after that i entered our house while her and coach were talking for a whilei decided to check my phone. i saw that i was added in a group chat so i went to the group chat and saw all random phone numbers that i didn't have in my contactsi opened the group chat and saw all the names of my new team so i texted them back.

ig the other people in the groupchat just weren't online or something

then i got a call from someone and i looked who it was

i answered the phone and asked why he called me 

"yo y/n i'm calling you to ask if you want to go to the ice rink with me? we could get to know each other better and we have training today..so?" I admit it brought a smile to my face my first friend from the team. I'm so happy

"yes sure sounds nice i'll be there in 5" "okay y/n see ya" "see you jesse" was the last thing i said before hanging up

faster than expected I got there and then I saw him he was waiting for me at the entrance"hey y/n you're here""yeah i'm here" i said with a smilehe gave me a smile back and we walked in together. "Let's put on our hockey gear first and then we can play some hockey and get to know each other while" he told me"yes sounds good" I replied. we now had our hockey gear on and stepped to the ice."Why don't we go skating first and get to know each other and then play hockey?" I suggested and he agreed. "good idea" comes out of his mouth.I smile. we start skating, I am the first to ask him something.

 "are you good at hockey?" I ask. "you can say that, yeah" he replies "and you? are you good at it?" he asks me"You can say that, yes" I say just like him. he smiles at me "you know when i first saw you i never thought you would be like this" i look at him confused "what do you mean by that?" he laughs and says "I didn't mean it bad or anything, you just looked shy but you're cool" "oh well in that case thank you"

after a lot of questions we decided to play hockey

we know each other much better

it feels safe
