Izuku: the one

the rescue

Things were shitty today but they can get better. Deku and Uravity have decided to go and rescue All Might from the Agents.

"We should go over the plan." Uravity said.

"Alright, we enter the building I have the duffle bag, and you will have the Suitcase. I go through the metal detector which will detect the metal in the guns on my vest we kill the guards, if backup kill them too, take elevator to roof but stop mid-way there, plant the bomb, get on elevator roof use cable harness to get to the roof, hijack the helicopter and save All Might." Deku says.

"I like this plan, I'm excited to be a part of it! Let's do it!" Neo said.

"Sounds good to me."

"I love it when a plan comes together." Deku quotes John "Hannibal" Smith from The A-Team.

A dark wind blows. In long black coats, Uravity and Deku push through the revolving doors. Deku is carrying a duffle bag. Uravity has a large metal suitcase. They cut across the lobby to the security station, drawing nervous glances. Dark glasses, game faces. Deku calmly passes through the metal detector which begins to wail immediately. A security guard moves over toward Deku, raising his metal detection wand.

"Would you please remove any metallic items you are carrying: keys, loose change --" Deku slowly sets down his duffle bag and throws open his coat, revealing an arsenal of guns, knives and grenades slung from a climbing harness. "Holy shit --"

Deku is a blur of motion. In a split second, three guards are dead before they hit the ground. A fourth guard dives for cover, clutching his radio.

"Backup! Send in the backup!"

He looks up as Uravity sets off the metal detector. It is the last thing he sees.
The backup arrives. A wave of soldiers blocking the elevators. The concrete cavern of the lobby becomes a white noise roar of gunfire. Slate walls and pillars pock, crack, and crater under a hailstorm of explosive-tipped bullets. They are met by the quivering spit of a sub-hand machine gun and the razored whistle of throwing knives. Weapons like extensions of their bodies, are used with the same deadly precision as their feet and their fists. Bodies slump down to the marbled floor while Deku and Uravity hardly even break their stride.

Agents Jones and Lamperouge burst into the room. Agent Bakugo releases All Might.

"What were you doing?" Lamperouge asked

Agent Bakugo recovers, replacing his earpiece.

"You don't know." Jones added

"Know what?"

"Thomas." Smith whispered to himself.

Agent Bakugo listens to his earphone, not believing what he's hearing.

They get in. Uravity immediately drops and opens the suitcase, wiring a plastique and napalm bomb. Deku hits the emergency stop. He pulls down part of the false ceiling and finds the elevator shaft access panel.

Agent Jones looks at All Might.

"I think they're trying to save him."

"Thank you, Captain Obvious." Smith said.

Deku ratchets down a clamp onto the elevator cable. Both of them lock on. He looks up the long, dark throat of the building and takes a deep breath.

"There is no spoon." Deku whispered what the Buddhist kid told him.

Deku whips out his gun and presses it to the cable, lower than they attached themselves. Boom! The cable snaps. The counter-weights plummet, yanking Uravity and Deku up through the shaft as the elevator falls away beneath them, distending space, filling it with the sound of whistling metal as they sear to the top. The elevator hits the bottom. BA-BOOM! The massive explosion blows open the doors, fire clouds engulfing the elevator section of the lobby.
