Chapter 14: This=Love

Danny

The next morning I woke up with that amazing feeling. I love Kay so much that it hurts when I am not with her. I am in love with her, and no matter what happens, I still can't believe that she is with me. She tells me the same thing every time. But the truth is, I am the lucky one.

I looked at her as she was sleeping. Her soft breath was stroking my body. I moved a bit closer to her. The way the sun was shining over her head. It was beautiful. 'Baby girl, I love you', I whispered softly in her ear. I kissed her on her nose and then I had to get up. I left a note saying that I would come back soon with breakfast.

I suddenly got a text from my mum that said that she was in London already! I thought that she was going to be in London the day before The Voice final! Well I love having her here. I can use some guidance today.

'Danny boy, good to see you again sweetheart, where is Kay, I thought she was coming with you?', my mum said. 'Mum, I didn't even know you were going to be there, she had a big night last night, so she is still sleeping', I said. 'She is making you really happy is she, I saw you both on tv last night, the way she looks at you, the way you look at her, it's so obvious that you guys are made for each other', my mum said. 'Well mum, I wanted to tell you something, I think that Kay and I originally wanted to wait until we can tell it together, I hope she is not going to be pissed about this, but I can't keep it from you any longer and since you are here', I said. 'Danny, you are making me nervous', my mum said. 'She... well we are going to be parents', I said smiling. 'Oh Danny... you have no idea how happy you make me with that, I thought I'd lost all hope with you, since you are in The Script and all, girls snogging you and you snogging girls, but Kay is the 'one' for you?', my mum asked. 'She is, I know it, I feel it in my gut, and not because she is pregnant, but because I love her, I want to ask her to marry me during the final, I love her so much, what do you think mum, would she say yes?', I asked and I sounded like a little boy.

'Danny boy, you don't need my permission to marry this girl, I love her, she is part of our family, part of you, please be married already, it's more time for you to get settled my boy, you are 34, she is 10 years younger then you, but I don't think that will be a problem, for her or for you for that matter, maybe for the media, but who cares about that, these are your lives, start living the dream Danny', my mum said and she hugged me. 'Thanks mum, I love seeing you, but I have a job to do and Kay is waiting for me so, thank you for the advise by the way', I said with a smile. 'You are welcome Danny boy, anytime', my mum said. I hugged her and left the with take out breakfast.

I ran upstairs trying not to wake up Leilah. I softly entered our room and smiled as I saw Kay sitting up straight reading a book. She smiled as soon as I entered the door. 'Danny boy... oh breakfast', she pleaded. 'Yup, hey I hope you are not going to be mad at me, but my mum showed up, suddenly she is in London now, staying in a hotel, but I told her about the baby, I couldn't keep it to ourselves', I said praying that she wouldn't be mad at me. 'Baby, how can I be mad at you, she is your mother, of course I understand, I would have loved to tell her too, but I am not mad at ya, how can I be mad at you, not after what you did with me last night', she said with a smile on her face. 'So you liked that right', I said jumping on bed sitting next to her. 'Didn't you hear me scream from pleasure, baby I am super horny because of all these hormones, and I want to go again', Kay said with an even bigger smile.

She went to sit upon me and kissed me softly on my lips. Her hands touching my waste. Her beautiful hair was tickling my neck. 'Oh baby girl', I moaned. 'Danny take me, I want you now', she said almost desperate now, not in a bad way though. She sure wasn't lieing about being horny. Morning sex was the best way to wake up with. After we were done and ate our breakfast we went downstairs were Leilah was sitting, watching tv. She turned her head around to look at us. 'So, busy morning I heard', she said a bit cranky. 'Well, sorry we were a little loud', Kay said with a smile. 'Look... I get that you are in love, both of you, but this is my house, I really don't mind that you both are doing whatever that is you were doing that was so delicious you had to scream apparently, but I am here too, so are my neighbours, I already got complainants and if the landlord finds out I get more complaints I might get kicked out of this house, I actually like this house, so please, I am all in for making yourself at home, but keep it down okay', Leilah said a bit angry.

She meant it. Leilah was always in for a joke, but this time she meant it. I felt a bit ashamed really. It was true, everything what she said and I sure understood were she came from. After all, she is the one that has to wash our sheets, she is the one that lives here after we are done with The Voice.

'I am so sorry Leilah, we were both acting out selfish, we should keep it down next time, I feel like a real asshole to you right now', I said. 'Don't, because you are not an asshole Danny, I just wanted to say this, that's all, at least now I know why there is a baby on the way', Leilah said. That made us all laugh. There was the Leilah I knew.

Kay and Leilah were chatting about hot guys from movies that I didn't knew until I told Kay that we had to get to work and that the camera's were waiting on us at 3 in the afternoon. They were making a video from our time together before The Voice final and I was going to surprise her.
