Third Person POV:

"Finley!" Minho spoke relieved upon seeing Finley awake and safe. His small smile faltered at the sight of hatred that was on Finley's face when she looked in his direction.

He understood she would be mad after what he did, he was mad at himself too.

"Back up." The man that held her pushed Minho away before continuing to walk away.

"HEY! Where are you taking her!" Thomas shouted after the man who carried Finley away from their sight. They could see Finley struggle against the man's grasp and the boy's protective mode took place instantly. Fry went running forward to Finley and a guard pushed him back, he was luckily caught by Winston who stood behind him, but that did not stop either of them from continuing to try to get to Finley. The others began pushing against the guards that had tried to hold them back.

"FINLEY!" Fry yelled to the girl.

"LET GO OF HER!" Newt screamed in worry about what they might do to her.

"FIN!" Teresa cried out.

"NO!" Winston and Jack tried to squeeze past the guards, unfortunately, they were just shoved right back.

The guards kept pushing the gladers to a room, once all of them were in that room they shut and locked the door to make sure they didn't get out.

"HEY!"

"OPEN THE DOOR!"

"LET US OUT!" They banged on the door, it was no use. No one could hear them and even if they did, no one would help.

"Guys..." Jack's quiet voice spoke up. The gladers looked over to see Jack was looking at something.

"Wow." Fry gasped at the sight of a table full of food.

"We need to find Finley," Thomas stated.

"Thomas, we can't find her or help her until they let us out of here." Teresa tries to convince Thomas. Thomas didn't want to wait, all he could think about was all the gladers they have lost already and the possibility of losing Finley too if he didn't find her. "We should wait a bit. At least until they unlock the door." Thomas hesitantly nodded before everyone rushed over to the table to eat.

"Dibs on the rice!" Fry hollered. Even with the thoughts and worries of Finley in the back of their mind, they were too starving to deny this free food.

-----

The gladers lay scattered around the room, they had finished all the food they were given, and not a crumb was left.

"I hope Finley is okay..." Thomas spoke in a hushed tone to Newt.

"If I know Finley as good as I think I do, then I can say that she will be fine. She can take care of herself. She is strong and does not give up fighting- even when she wants to..." A solemn look took over Newt's face, his eyebrows furrowing and Thomas noticed. Before Thomas could ask further about what Newt was implying, the door began creaking open.
