|Maddison|
"Tyler!" Maddison laughed while he tugged her with him to the dance floor, "No! Leave me alone."
"You don't mean that," He held her hands a bit higher and danced with her through them, "Come on, I know you can dance."
With another small laugh she started to dance to the beat with him, "See, isn't this much more fun then standing on the sidelines."
He spun her around into Dodge while Tyler went to bother someone else, "I am sorry!"
Dodge held her by the shoulders with a small but awkward smile, "It's okay."
She just danced awkwardly with him when he spoke up, "You know, I know that everyone thinks that I am still new in this town. But, I don't think that I have seen you around before?"
Maddison chuckled while his arms were around her waist when the music slowed a bit down to where couples could comfortably dance on.
"I shared three classes with you, am I not memorable enough?"
She couldn't help but tease him a bit, but neither could she blame him for not having noticed her around the school nor town.
His blush made her chuckle slightly, "Three? I should've remembered that, shouldn't I?"
Maddison just waved him off, "Nah, it's okay."
"No, it isn't because everyone here seems to kind of respect you around here,"
And true to his word when they both looked around she saw some old classmates and other teenagers smiling her way with a small wave or a nod of the head, but she just hummed up at him.
"It isn't that they know me, it's just that I never go to party's."
He glanced down at the girl in his arms while they danced a bit more comfortably now, "Tell me why a pretty girl like you, never goes to these types of things?"
"Now, now, now. That's a classified secret, Mr. Mason. I will tell, if you tell yours,"
"I've got nothing to tell," He shrugged with a small laugh.
Maddison scrunched her face in disbelief, "No one comes to Carp without a legit answer, while everyone else tries to flee away from here, trust me."
Now it was he that hummed, "So you want to skip town?"
"Everyone in here wants that more then anything," she pointed to her sister and friends that were eyeing her and Dodge with suggestive glances and slight shock. "They want to get as far away from here as human possible,"
Dodge tilted his head while he glanced at them before looking back down to the soft spoken girl, "And where would you go?"
She thought for a bit before answering his question in all honestly, "Utah, or maybe San Francisco."
