Legend has it that a hundred years ago, there was a man named Samuel Graybill, who was the richest man in Texas. He had a beautiful wife and three happy children, and he wanted to build a majestic house in Carp. But the land he chose was believed to be cursed, Graybill didn't believe in curses and built the house anyway.

After they moved in, Graybill and his family played a game every day.

When he came home, he'd knock four times and wait ten seconds before he entered...

... So his perfect wife and children could come greet him at the door.

However one day he came home and didn't knock, so he could surprise his wife.

He snuck into his bedroom...

... And found her in the arms of another man.

In a fit of rage, he killed his wife, his children and burried them in the walls of the house. In his grief, he hung himself from the bell tower. Now, Graybill's ghost curses all lovers who enter the house, and they will hear the bells ring before their loved one dies.

Maddison tiredly parked the car while Heather almost immediately jumped out of the vehicle, she rubbed her forehead with a groan and got out of the car as well, not noticing her beloved boyfriend walking towards her.

"Think fast," She heard and tumbled with the ball that came hurdling her way. "Look at you," She could hear the smile in his voice before she looked up at him when he got closer to her, "All dolled up."

"What do you want?" She teased him while throwing the ball back to him,.

He threw the ball from one hand to the other, "Ahw, I missed you, too."

Maddison snorted at his words and went to walk past him to her house when he placed his arm around her waist, his hand coming to rest on her lower stomach and pulled her into his chest, his chin resting on her shoulder. "Where do you think you are going?"

"Home," She pointed to the caravan next to them.

Ray kissed her cheek from behind, "I was gonna go out on my boat with my friends, you know, for a little cruise. You want to join?"

She couldn't help the yawn that escaped her mouth, "I don't know, I have alot of things to do and Heather is not talking to me, I gotta get to the bookstore with Lily and then get some food for tonight and oh, I almost forgot to go to the farm to--"

He placed his hand on her mouth tickling her with the hand that rested on her waist, "Your problem with Heather is one that I don't know what to do, to help you with nor do I want too. But the Lily problem, I can help you with. What do you say, you get Lily and we will go to the store where you can buy your groceries and I can go to the book thing with her?"
