"Maddison!" The girl shot up from her sleep, wide eyes and heart beating wildly, while she looked around her in fear.
"Heather?! Are you okay?" She immediately jumped up and ran towards her sister, checking her for injuries before she grabbed her in a tight hug, "What's going on? Is Lily okay? Where is Lily?" Maddison looked around her before walking over to Lily's bed where she was sleeping peacefully, the girl sat down on the bed next to her little sister and ran her fingers through her hair soothingly.
"I-I am sorry for scaring you, B-but we found a clue."
Maddison just started to hum a lullaby under her breath, "Bishop and I went and investigated it. It's at the granery!"
She hushed her sister who started to wake from the Heather's loud voice and quieted down when her sister glared at her tiredly, "Be quiet or go outside."
"I am sorry, Granery 10 pm tomorrow."
Athena just hummed at Hestia and just continued to hum a lullaby under her breath when she saw Lily fidget, "Maddison, are you listening to me?" Sadly she had lost her sister's attention a few minutes ago already, "Please drop out of the competition. It's not worth it," That snapped the attention of her sister who shot up with an icy glare in her eyes directed at Heather. "Don't compare your troubles with mine,"
Heather scoffed and followed the girl into the livingroom and waited for her to close the door, which Maddison did softly but kept it slightly open, just in case she needed to get into the room quickly.
"Don't ever say that to me again," Maddison rummaged through the kitchen while speaking those words.
"Why? Cause you know it's true? You always thinks that the world revolves around you Maddison, but newsflash! It is not always about you!"
With those words the girl calmly leant against the cabinets and watched her sister getting red in the face, "Are you done now?"
"Done?! You always try to be someone your not! You are not mom and you are not the badass you think you are, I mean Ray? Out of everyone?"
Maddison closed her eyes for a brief moment and counted to ten, "Keep your voice down, Lily is sleeping just a few inches away and she does not need the yelling and shouting around her more then she already gets, at least not from us."
"Don't change the subj--"
"Quiet! Shut up right now, Heather and get outside right now." Heather stomped through the living room with a huf and went outside, Maddison groaned tiredly while rubbing her hands over her face and went to check on Lily who still slept peacefully. She closed the door softly and went outside where her sister was leaning against a tree not far from their home, "If I tell you to stay quiet, you will be considerate for the others living in the house."
