I am so sorry my internet is bad and my phone broke so it's a short chapter, hopefully you guys won't hate me for it.

It's more of a filler cause I am trying to get back into the characters but truthfully I am never truly satisfied with my chapters, I know it has been awhile since I truly updated this book.

Writing has always been something that I love doing but I just did not really see the purpose of writing this year, but some reactions on the books and people adding it to their lists made me see that maybe it is a good thing to restart writing because, why did I even stop in the first place?

I hope you guys have a bit of patience left and truly I hope that you will like this filler.

Cheers and much love,

Dead-End S1.6

Third pov

Ray held Madison's hand in his own, eyes cast down as he started something that he had never done before in his life, he started a prayer. Praying that she would wake up soon and in hope that when she opened her eyes that she would be okay, that she could forgive him for getting her out of the building too late.

Madison in her blind panic grabbed the first thing she saw to try and get out of the burning building, thankfully for her it was a piece of brick as she punched her way through the wooden door. Eyes were wide as she kept on coughing at the smoke that entered her nostrils and lungs, she tried to keep her breathing to a minimum but being in panic did not help her as she was panting out of breath.

Maddy crawled through the hole that she punched in the door and made her way through the maze of fire her lungs burning as she tried to breathe, in her panic she did not know that she had made it outside safely as she fell onto the grass below her. Sobs and gasps filled the air where she laid when the sirens echoed through her brain, an empty feeling entered her body a numbness that she could not explain even if she tried to do exactly that. The girl did not register a body sitting down next to her, the person shouting out at her in panic before he shouted at others to hurry up.

"Madison! Maddy wake up, please baby! Open your eyes," But the girl was out cold ever since her knees touched the grass.

Madison's eyes opened slowly but closed them quickly when she found the light to be too bright, a gasp of breath alerted Ray that his prayers worked and that his girlfriend blinked up at him sluggishly. "Hey beautiful," He said softly while running his hand through her hair as he leaned a bit over her while still being seated at her side, his other hand that clutched her own was brought to his mouth as a dry sob left his mouth. "You scared me there for a second baby,"

She went to say something but started coughing instead, he immediately stood up from his seat and helped her sit up a bit straighter so she would be more comfortable in the hospital bed. "I-I am sorry," Her voice was dry and scratchy and it made her wince when she only spoke a single sentence.

Ray could only shake his head at her, "No, you should not be sorry." He denied it immediately tears gathered in the corner of his eyes, "You will be okay, I will make sure that you will be okay."
