Right after school, Jay had decided to walk you back home since you both agreed on doing a project together. You were glad that you teamed up with him. He's such a total nerd which you kinda loved about him.
Sure, his jabbering was a bit annoying, but as soon as it's something you're interested in, you didn't mind.
"Hey, I didn't know you lived this far from school. I almost feel bad for you..." Jay stated.
You shrugged at his comment. Not really want to reply.
"Don't ignore me~" He whined while shaking your arm back and forth.
You chuckled and pulled his hands away. You looked at him from the side of your vision with a small smile.
"Don't worry, I'm not ignoring you. I'm just...a bit tired to reply to anything you say right now."
"Oh, want me to carry you home?"
You stood still and so did he. Your back started to shake. You blurted out into a nonstop laugh, it was so bad that you had teats falling down your eyes.
"C'mon, you couldn't even carry a dog just a second ago!"
"H-Hey! That was different."
"How in the world does it make a difference if you carry a 3-times heavier living being?"
Jay crossed his arms in embarrassment and cleared his throat to say something but he didn't know what excuse he should be making up at this point.
You smiled at him and waited for a response.
"Eh...I...Let's just bring you back home." He gave in.
"Alright then, Jiji. My house is right over there. I guess this is our farewell." You said as you looked back and pointed at the white building between the blue and green one.
"Oh. Wait. Before you go, can I have your contact number for our project?"
"Yeah, sure."
You let Jay scan your contact and send a simple message such as 'Hello'. You saved him up as the one and only 'Mumbler'.
