Fortnite. One of the worst games you had played in your life. You had 10 reasons why it sucked. Let me count it out for ya.

1. It's in third-person mode

2. The gameplay is poor and so are the graphics

3. Zero skill needed

4. It's repetitive

5. You had to pay for it

6. It's inappropriate

7. It's addictive

8. It lacks originality

9. Boring

And finally...

10. It's overrated.

(Sorry for those who enjoy playing this game but this is simply my opinion of this game.)

But somehow and for some reason, you ended up joining a champion league event.

'I don't know how I signed up for this. Why and when did I even?'

The price to pay was a lot but the price to win was much more. Probably a hundred times higher than the payment to get inside the game.

There were two familiar faces you had met among those 100 people who participated. One who you met in the previous Lazer Tag game, Lloyd, and then one who's enemies with you since childhood, Chris.

You had no idea why he disliked you so much. But something tells you that this was his way of showing affection towards a person. It's just a feeling though.

"Hey, Champ!" A familiar voice shouted from afar.

"Oh, hey Noob!"

"Oi, don't call me that. I might be worse than you but I can play like a legend."

"Whatever, let's wait for the outcome. If I win, I get to permanently call you 'noob'." You challenged.

The blonde boy agreed to the Challenge without hesitation. Looking down at his friends and family with a large smile.

"What a turnout! A tie?!" The man exclaimed into the microphone.

"Nooo, way. . ." You groaned as you placed your hands on your forehead. Slowly let it slide down to your chin.

"Alright competitors, you may choose. Share or dare!"

"Dare!"

"ShAre" The blonde boy cracked.

The audience laughed while Lloyd was slightly flustered at his outburst.

"Please... let's just share this one..." Lloyd begged.

"Fine, I was just teasing ya babe- I mean-Fuck..." Your head banged on the table with a constant groan.

The public laughed and cheered at the failed line you had done.

Lloyd and you shared the prize money and walked you out off the stage.

"So, 'babe' huh? We're this far now?"

"It was an accident! I swear!" You shouted. Getting redder as you think back about the moment.

"I know, I know. Just teasing you. By the way," Lloyd pulled out his phone from his back and showed the code scanner.

"I forgot to exchange numbers with you last time...haha..."

"No problem. So did I."
