My mother gave me my allowance for the week. I finally had the time to go to the arcade again. It's been a month since the last time I went.

And even if I considered Y/n as a friend, I can't stop thinking about her every night whenever I had the chance to relax from my missions, training, or just my daily routine. It's like she's stuck in my mind.

Yeah, I had her number. But I couldn't bring myself to ask her to go online on a game. I always held back whenever I wanted to.

It's frustrating to think she might decline my invitation even though I knew she wasn't going to.

Anywho, I was already at the station by the time I was finished with my thoughts. Call it perfect timing.

I stepped inside the arcade to spot people surrounding a certain place I've gone to once. The game was new. It came out a month ago. It was where I first met her. The new Laser Tag game.

They were all swooning at the video from the screen. Both show two players' cameras placed on their heads. To be honest, I couldn't recognize the two figures. I could tell that one was a female and the other one was a male.

The score was 50-53. Making the male in the lead. There were only 3 minutes left before the round ends. I could hear others talk about the match. They've been playing for the past 2 hours. Which was insane. I was impressed by the female's stamina. She was able to endure almost 2 hours of running, hiding, aiming, and thinking of tactics to attack him.

The female scored two other points in the past minute. Making the male search for a hiding spot to keep his point on the lead at the end. But the girl was smart. She took this chance to think of a move that might get him distracted for just a second.

There were items around the room. This means she was able to throw things as a distraction. The male, however, moved from his spot whenever he got the urge to. He too had a plan of which the girl was aware.

The girl jumped down from her spot and stormed towards a few items she came across. She evaded all the shots of the guy, who was hiding behind a wall nearby.

Risky.

She threw items at him. Constantly making him turn around and making him dizzy. She came running from behind and shot him with the laser gun right at his upper torso. Now making it a tie with 30 seconds left.

The guy ran away to the next spot and the girl came running behind his back. His vest turned the color blue once again. And just as she fired, he turned to the left. Making the laser go across the room. 20 seconds left

The girl ran to the other side where the guy went and hid behind a wall for the next 5 seconds. She then made a turn to which she ended up where he was hiding. Unexpectedly, she stumbled back, making the laser miss her vest. 10 seconds left.

The girl quickly made her way back up and went around the wall to fool him. The guy was able to hear her footsteps sound and clear. Making her plan fail miserably. 5 seconds left.

She then took a risk to which everybody went silent. She took a few steps back and ran towards a wall. Jumping high enough to reach the top and jump over. Doing a complete backflip and shot him perfectly on the chest. 1 second left.

Time over.

Everyone mumbled to each other in shock at the girl's last move. They hadn't expected her to win against this guy.

The two players came outside the room. Exposing both their identities to me for the first time.

"Y/n?"

The girl who I had befriended a month ago, stood right in front of me with the biggest smile I have ever seen. She was sweaty from all the movement she had done.

Everyone stared at the screen at the last 3 kills the winner had made. Making her smile with amusement and looking down at her phone. She took a photo at the leaderboard screen and admired it.

*ping*

I look down at my phone. Only to show me a picture of the same screen that was playing in front of me. Saying:

'Look, I won an extreme match against the previous 10th place champion! Y'know what that means? I'M A CHAMPIOOOOOOON LETS GOOOOO!!!'

'That's great! I would've loved seeing you beat up that guy!'

'Alright! Again, congratulations!' I'm so happy for you!'
