I came 10 minutes earlier than he scheduled for our first date. I never thought I'd give him a chance but here we are. Standing across from each other on a small bridge.

He smiled at me with a cheeky grin and lend me his hand. I gladly took it from him without hesitating. He pulled me to the other side with a giggle. I chuckled at his excitement. He was adorable. I have to give him that. I can't believe I fell for a guy like him.

This is dumb. Adorably dumb. I fell for a dump little player. He loved Skylor but is going out with me? I should've known better. I couldn't miss this chance to get to know him though.

But this idiotic, stupid moron, had to bring me to a boat date. Even though saying that he couldn't swim the other day. Wow. Best date ever. I would've preferred to go to a Cinema and watch a drama or romantic movie.

Kai turned around and carried me in bridal style. He jumped on the boat. Almost makes us fall into the river. He settled down and placed me on the other seat.

He started the engine and it went around the lake in a slow romantic phase.

"So, uh...this was your idea?"

"Yeah, I originally planned it for Skylor but since she said no, I asked you!"

"You begged for me to say 'yes' and I can't even say that this one is the best date I've been gone so far.

"I'm not your first?!"

I shook my head and stared down at my reflection. Kai was frowning at my silent response. It took me a few minutes to realize how uncomfortable he felt with the silence.

"You're quiet today, Kai."

He shot his head up to look at me. His eyes were wide and surprised.

"You...said my name."

"Uh, duh. Gotta respect the person I'm having a date with."

"Still, this is the first time you've called me by my name! I will cherish this moment~"
