Alice's POV
I looked up from my magazine and saw Edward pull up in our garage. That's strange, Edward went to see Bella in the morning and I thought he would be going to school with her but here he is.
"Edward? What are you doing home? Did you forget something?" I questioned him as he walked into the house.
Edward just shook his head and headed up the stairs. I got up from the couch and followed right behind him. We got into his room and Edward didn't even bother to chase me out like he usually does.
"What's wrong?" I asked as Edward fell on his couch.
"Bella." Was all that Edward said. I sat down on the floor in front of Edward and looked up at him.
"What happened?"
"Jacob. Bella. More shit." Edward closed his eyes and let out a long sigh. I looked up at the clock and saw that there was still half an hour to get to school but obviously Edward wasn't planning on going.
"What do you mean by more shit? Did y'all end up in another argument with Jacob?" I sighed.
"No but I wish I had. I want to break his teeth." Edward growled.
"Can you tell me what's going on?" I asked, a little irritated. Boys had no sense of urgency.
Edward looked down at me with eyes filled with anger. "Jacob asked Bella to stay away from me, for real this time. He's unbelievable, that jack ass."
"I can't say I'm surprised. That guy is really protective over Bella." I frowned. "So that's why Bella called you over this morning?"
"Yeah at least she told me about it beforehand. Can't believe that sucker is making her do this." Edward punched the couch in frustration.
"And I actually thought that you guys could finally be normal again!" I shrieked. "But why would Jacob suddenly do this?"
"Because he has utterly no brains! He just has an unusually big head that is useless."
I laughed but nodded. "True true." I composed my face again and got up. "But are you going to leave things this way? It's horrible to ignore Bella like this." I walked over to Edward's music shelf and leant against it.
"I know. But this is what Bella wants, I mean she obviously doesn't mind sacrificing our friendship for Jacob." Edward looked down at his hands.
"Well you can't say that." Edward looked up. "Are you forgetting what you did to her first? Bella was nothing but a good friend to you, Edward. But after what you did, how can you blame her for choosing Jacob over you now?" I whispered, hoping I wasn't too harsh.
Edward knew I was right but even then, I didn't like seeing him this broken. I walked over and kneeled before him.
"Look, I know this is hard but if it's meant to be, you guys will be friends again. Bella is tough, she won't let anyone control her for long. I believe in you guys." I smiled and Edward smiled back. He patted my hands and mouthed a thanks.
"You're welcome little brother." I grinned as I stood up. "Coming to school?"
"Nah, not up for it." Edward faintly smiled but I could still see his pain stricken eyes behind the facade he was trying to pull off.
"Hey, it's going to be okay." I said as I gave him a hug. "I'll be back the minute I'm done with school and we will go out for dinner okay?" I pulled away from him and he looked up at me, nodding.
"Have fun." Edward smirked as I walked out of his room. I rolled my eyes and closed the door behind me. I skipped down the stairs just as my phone rang in my pocket, indicating that I had gotten a new text message.
