Evelyn was helping me pack for a weekend with Evan and his parents at their vacation house. Apparently they had a surprise for Evan and they invited me for the weekend also. Evelyn was convinced that this was going to be the weekend for Evan and me since we’ve been together six months and the only thing we’ve done in bed was literally sleep.

“I think this weekend is going to be fun. Just don’t do anything that his parents might see. That would be extremely awkward.” Evelyn says and I can’t help but laugh as she makes a horrified look.

“Trust me, if anything happens it will be in the bedroom where nobody else will see what’s going on.” I tell her. She just laughs and helps me finish packing my suitcase.

A soft knock alerts us and I turn to see Evan leaning against the door frame. I smile and he walks in. “All ready for the weekend?” He asks.

                I nod. “Just about.”

“Don’t forget this!” Evelyn says and stashes a chemise in and closes the suitcase and zips it up.

Evan raises his eyebrows. “Don’t ask.” I say and he just nods and grabs the suitcase from Evelyn.

We walk down the stairs and I shout my goodbyes to everyone and we are off for the weekend to some place in the woods. The ride with Evan was silent but it was nice. He held my hand and rubbed his thumb along the back of my hand and once in a while he would bring my hand to his lips and kiss it. He makes me feel all giddy and bubbly inside. I didn’t even feel this with David.

An hour later and we pull up to the house. Beautiful is an understatement. This house was absolutely immaculate in every way possible. We hop out of the car and Evan grabs my suitcase and his bag and we walk up the steps. His mom rushes outside and Evan drops the cases and hugs his mom as she embraces him with a big smile on her face.

“I’m so glad you made it!” She exclaims and then turns to me. “You must be Addison.” She smiles and hugs me so I return it. “Evan has told us so much about you. I am so excited to finally meet you. God you are beautiful.” She says.

                “Mom-“ Evan says.

“Let her talk. I like her.” I tell him and his mom laughs. “Oh we are going to get along just fine. I’m Margaret, but please that makes me sound so old, so call me Madge.” Evan opens the door and we walk in. I reach for my suit case but he pulls it away, kisses me on the lips then runs up the stairs taking two at a time. Madge shakes her head and waves him off then leads me into the living area. “Bill, this is Addison.” She says and raises her eyebrows.

Bill, Evan’s father looks at me with a big smile. I can see where the boys got their blue eyes from. “Addison! Evan has said so much. You are more beautiful in person.” I expect a handshake but he gives me a gentle hug. “I’m Bill, as my wife stated.”

I smile big. “Nice to meet you.” I say and stare at them both. Could these people be any sweeter?

“Can I have my girlfriend back before you corrupt her?” Evan says walking over. I smile at him and he wraps his arm around my waist. “So what are we doing first?”

“Whatever you feel like.” Bill says with a smile. “We hadn’t stocked the fridge yet for tonight so we thought we’d let you give Addison the tour while we stop into town and do some quick shopping.”
