"Where are you taking us Tanjiro-San?" Zenitsu asked. "We're going to an old lady's house,". "Ehhh!? Why?". "Me and F/n were just there, she had some bad wounds from a demon fight. And by the looks of it they opened back up" Tanjiro said. Zenitsu looked at the unconscious girl on his back, "you're so lucky! You get to travel with a pretty girl!" Zenitsu whined.

The whole way to the wisteria home, Inosuke kept prodding Tanjiro to fight him.

"Fight me Kamaboko gonphichiro!"
"Head Butt me again! I can take it"
"I'll surely defeat you this time, bow to your god!"

This went on until they finally reached the house. The gate opened and out came the woman. "Back so soon I see..very well" the woman said, leading them inside. "I apologize for the inconvenience! But F/n's wounds opened back up!" Tanjiro told her. "It's quite alright young demon slayer, I'll make sure to take good care of your girlfriend" the woman said warmly.

Tanjiro blushed and avoided her gaze, "she's not-". The woman looked back at him, she patted his cheek with her hand, "Of course, apologies" she said with a smile.

She led the 4 to a a large room, "here's where you'll stay. I'll have a doctor examine you three while I stitch up her slashes" she said, taking F/n off Tanjiros back. "Wait here, he'll be here soon". The woman walked down the hallway, and a short old man appeared. "Let's take a look shall we" he said warmly. Apparently all three of them had broken ribs.

Once the doctor left the room, Tanjiro plopped down on his back, staring at the ceiling. "Tanjiro-San" Zenitsu said. "Eh?". "Why are you traveling with a demon" he asked. Tanjiro smiled warmly and sat back up.

"After my family was attacked by demons, my sister turned into one. I'm looking for a way to turn her back" he explained. "Is that even possible?" Zenitsu asked. "I sure hope so".

"Gentleman," the lady said. "Your friend is all stitched up, but she shouldn't move for a few days" she told them. "Thank you so much!" Tanjiro said, grabbing her hand and bowing. "Just doing my job! I'll prepare you some dinner and move her back into here" the lady said and walked out.

When she came back in she had F/n on her back, this old lady's strong! Tanjiro thought. She laid F/n down on the futon next to Tanjiros. Tanjiro moved the hair out of her face and admired her gorgeous features. "You're one lucky feller" the lady told him. Tanjiro just smiled, and nodded his head.

It was the middle of the night, and it was dead quiet. Besides the sound of Zenitsu softly snoring. Both Zenitsu and Inosuke had fallen asleep, but Tanjiro stayed awake. He had put F/n's head on his lap and was running his fingers through her long black and white hair. "I'm sorry I wasn't there for you.." he whispered.

"Tanjiro-kun..." F/n whispered weakly. "F/n!?" Tanjiro said. F/n slowly opened her eyes and looked up at Tanjiro, a small tear brimmed her eye. "Hey.." Tanjiro said, and sat her up. "What's wrong F/n-San..?" Tanjiro asked softly, pulling her into his arms. "I-I'm sorry I couldn't be strong.." F/n said quietly.

Tanjiro pet her head, "you're the strongest girl I know, everyone gets hurt, it's nothing to be ashamed of," he assured her. "The little girl told me how brave you were when you were fighting that demon, you should be proud of yourself" Tanjiro said sweetly.   F/n giggled softly. "You're so sweet Tanjiro-kun" she said, and kissed his cheek.

"Remember what happened last time we were here" Tanjiro said in a flirty tone. F/n's face turned red and she buried herself in his chest. "Shut up!" She said.

F/n tore herself from his grasp and stood up. "F/n-San! You shouldn't be standing!" Tanjiro warned. "I'm okay.." she said, she said holding her stomach. "Please don't strain yourself" Tanjiro told her, now standing by her side.

"I want to go to outside" F/n told him. "Here," Tanjiro crouched down, "get on my back I'll take you outside" he said. F/n hopped on his back and he carried her to the old lady's garden. He placed F/n down on a bench in the middle of the garden. F/n looked up into the night sky, admiring the stars and the shine of the moon.

"It's such a beautiful night.." F/n said softly. "Yeah...you are.." Tanjiro said, he was looking at her with the sweetest expression. F/n giggled, "I said the night was beautiful not me" she said. Tanjiro blushed and looked to his feet, "right! Sorry" he apologized. "It's okay Tanjiro-Kun" F/n said with a tiny smile.

The two sat in silence for a while, F/n admiring the scenery, Tanjiro admiring her. He couldn't seem to take his eyes off of her, she was truly the most beautiful person he's ever seen.

"F/n-San.." Tanjiro said, breaking the silence. F/n looked at Tanjiro, making eye contact. "What...what am I to you.." Tanjiro asked. F/n was taken aback by the question and broke a sweat. "What do you mean?" She asked. Tanjiro grabbed her hand, "what am I to you" he asked again. F/n blushed, "you're my best friend," she said. Tanjiro frowned, "I see.." he said softly.
