"You have such a pretty name!" Yui beemed. "Thank you.." F/n said with a tiny smile. "I was sent here to slay a demon, but it seems like you've beat me to it" Yui said as she rubbed the back of her head. F/n giggled and patted her head.

East! East! Slay the demon lurking in the East! A demon has been abducting children during the night!

F/n put her katana back in her sheath and walked away from Yui. "Wait!" Yui yelled. F/n looked back at her, "yes?". "Please allow me to accompany you on your missions!" Yui said and bowed. "Sure, I'll let you," F/n said with a smile. "If you can keep up with me".

F/n jumped onto a rooftop and started running East. So fast! Yui thought and quickly ran after her. "How'd you jump so high!" Yui yelled. "Lots of training!" F/n yelled back.

They ran along for a while, Yui was actually keeping up with F/n pretty well. They ran all day, and when they arrived at the village the sun was already setting. They village looked horrible, pot holes and trash littered the streets.

Not a single soul looked to be there but Yui and F/n. "F/n-Senpai...this place looks scary!" Yui trembled. "Just stay behind me, you'll be fine" F/n assured her.

"You lot oughta get home" an old man's voice said. F/n looked around, but she didn't see him. Yui was trembling behind her, hanging onto her haori. "Did ya hear me? You gotta get home before yer taken" He said again.

"We're here to find the demon who's been tormenting this town" F/n told him. The man laughed, "what're a couple of kids gonna do?" He said, finally showing himself. F/n put her hand on her katana.

The man looked at her for a second, then at Yui. "Ahh, I see. Y'all are with the demon slayers". His expression softened, "I apologize then" he said and started to walk off. "Wait" F/n said, "tell us what you know about this demon" F/n said. "Come with me" he said, and gestured for them to follow him.

He led them to a shabby looking house, the wood seemed to be rotting and the floors were creaky. "I'm sorry about the mess, this village doesn't get much from the government" He said, sitting down in a chair.

F/n and Yui sat across from him, Yui was still trembling. "What do ya wanna know about this demon" the man asked. " just describe what's been happening, if you had an experience with it I'd like to hear your story" F/n said. The man nodded and scratched his chin.

"It only seems to abduct children in the middle of the night. My granddaughter, Hani, ended up being one of its victims" The man said, he seemed to choke on his words. Yui now had a sympathetic look, "don't worry! F/n-Senpai will slay this demon!" Yui assured him. "Will ya?" He asked, looking at F/n with a desperate face. "Is that even a question? Of course she will! F/n-Senpai can do anything!" Yui said proudly. "I'll do my best" F/n said softly.

"Y'all oughta rest up. I can tell yer tired from your travel here." The man said, getting up, "you can call me Taro" he said. "Come with me, I have a spare room". "Thank you Taro-Sama" F/n said, getting up. "Cut the formalities, just call me Taro" he said with a sweet smile.

He led them to a room with two dirty looking futons, F/n tried her best to hide her cringe. "I know it's not much, you've probably stayed in sewers better than this" he said embarrassed. "It's okay, thank you for your kindness" F/n said with a smile on her face.

Yui and F/n sat on the futons, but neither of them laid their heads down to sleep. "This place is so yucky!" Yui said quietly. "Yui, this man is allowing us to stay in his house. He doesn't have much, be great full" F/n lectured. "You're so kind F/n-Senpai! I wish I was like you!" Yui whined.

F/n smiled to herself, Yuis such a cute girl F/n thought. "F/n-Senpai~~ I'm tired!" She whined. "Come over here" F/n said. Yui crawled over to her and plopped down into her lap. "Sleep on my chest" F/n said. "But what about you!" Yui said. "I don't need sleep, you do though" F/n said. Yui shrugged and snuggled into F/n's chest. Yui somehow reminded her of her younger sister.

"F/n-Chan!" Himari yelled. F/n turned around, her sister was now clinging onto her waist. "Yes Mari?" F/n said with a sweet smile and crouched down. "I want you to read me a story!" Himari whined. F/n patted her head, "alright, just one. Then you have to go to bed." F/n told her. "Fineee".

"Which story do you want me to read you?" F/n asked, while tucking Himari into bed. "The princess one!" She said excitedly. F/n laughed and pet her head, "you have so many princess ones Mari, which princess one" F/n asked. Himari thought for a second, "the one where the princess falls in love with a village boy!" Himari said with a smile.

I lost Himari too soon.. F/n thought. I remember the day I lost you like it was yesterday.

"Lady F/n!" A woman called after her. F/n was sitting by the pond, reading a book. F/n turned around to see one of her dads maids panting. "What is it?" F/n asked. "The lady Himari has fallen ill! It's not looking very good!" The maid told her, while bowing her head. F/n sprung up and ran towards her home.

When she got there she saw Himari laying on her futon, her mother and father and three sisters sitting by her side. Himari was pale and her lips were blue, "Nee..San" Himari said weakly. F/n sat by here and grabbed her hand.

She looked at her mother and father who were crying. "What happened..?" F/n asked, tears now streaming down her face. "She has Regional Disease.." her mother said quietly. F/n looked back at her little sister, tears falling onto her slowly dying body.

Himari went through two months of having Regional Disease, with no signs of getting better. She could barely talk, eat, and drink. She couldn't move that much either. F/n would lay by her every day and night, praying for her to get better.

"Nee-San.." Himari said softly. F/n shot up, "yes Mari?" F/n asked. "You'll protect me right..? From this evil sickness. You'll fight it until it goes away..right..?" Himari asked. Tears spilled down F/n's face. "I'll protect you until my dying breath" F/n said, hugging her sister. "Good..you're so strong Nee-San, I wish I could be like you.." Himari said with a tiny smile on her face.

Himari died the next morning, she died in her sleep. The doctors said it was peaceful, but she suffered for a long time up until then. F/n's family was never the same again.

F/n caressed Yuis hair as she slowly drifted off to sleep. F/n slowly took her off her lap and placed her against the wall. F/n smiled at her and began to meditate.

F/n mediated for a while, and Yui didn't sleep long. After about 30 minutes she was awake again. Yui decided not to bother F/n and just sat there.

"You're such a pretty child..!" A disgusting voice said from beside Yui. Yui slowly turned her head and looked and the demon next to her. It grabbed her in its large arms and held her tight. "F/n-Senpai!" Yui screamed. F/n turned around and saw Yui in the demons arms, "YUI!" F/n screamed and reached out her arm. The demon broke through the wall and ran off into the night. F/n stood up and drew her katana.

"GIVE HER BACK!"
