꧁𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚂𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚍 𝙷𝚊𝚜𝚑𝚒𝚛𝚊: 𝚄𝚣𝚞𝚒 𝚃𝚎𝚐𝚎𝚗꧂

The Demon slayer Corps clean up crew arrived on the scene a little bit later. F/n had passed out, Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Yui were bawling their eyes out.

Zenitsu had some broken ribs and a broken leg, Inosuke had a broken jaw and ankle, Yui had a huge gash on her thigh, Tanjiro had a shard of the train through his arm and broken ribs. They all had bad injuries, and they were carried to the butterfly mansion.

Tanjiro barely spoke to anyone, F/n was meditating most of the time, and the rest of them were just sad. Even someone as well trained as Rengoku ended up dead and it shook them to the bone.

"Tanjiro! I snagged us some bean paste buns!" Zenitsu said happily. "Oh no! Tanjiro-Sans missing!" One of the girls yelled. "He shouldn't be out training yet! He still needs to heal!".

Zenitsu looked around the room, Yui and Inosuke were sitting on their beds drinking tea, and F/n was no where to be found. "Yui! Inosuke!" Zenitsu said, walking into the room. "Where's Tanjiro and F/n" he asked.

"Tanjiro said he needed to deliver a message, and F/n's out in garden" Yui explained. Zenitsu sighed and sat down next to Yui. "Those two are always running off somewhere" Zenitsu said laying his head in Yuis lap.

Yui was bright red, "Z-Zenitsu-Kun...what are you doing..?". Zenitsu shot up, "I'm sorry! Please for give me my goddess!" Zenitsu said. Yui giggled, "it's okay..!" She said with a smile. Zenitsu was now bright red as well.

"Get a room!" Inosuke yelled.

F/n sat under a cherry blossom tree, she was reading a book. It was the first time she had the chance to read for a while, it was some random romance novel Shinobu gave her. Tanjiro told her he had a message to deliver, she wanted to tag along but he didn't let her, he said he had to do this alone.

She looked up into the sky. Even though she knew nothing about Rengoku, she was still terribly sad that he was gone. He was someone Tanjiro looked up to, so naturally she did too.

She was still kinda sad that Tanjiro didn't let her go with. Usually he'd love for her to go along with him, but this time he just brushed her off. She knew he was hurting and she had to respect his space, but all she wanted to do was give him the biggest hug and hold him until he felt better.

"Good afternoon..lovely day isn't it..?" A soft voice said from beside her. "Kanao!" F/n said with a smile. "Whatcha reading?" She asked. F/n closed the book and looked at the cover, The cover read Knights Love. "I've read that one, it's one of my favorites!" Kanao said with a smile.

F/n had never seen her smile and talk so much. "Kanao-San, you've changed so much since I've last seen you. What happened?" F/n asked. "Tanjiro told me to follow my heart and do what I think is best" Kanao told her.

F/n smiled, "he's so sweet isn't he". "Sure is, you're such a lucky girl F/n" Kanao said with a giggle.

"Lady Kanao!" A voice yelled in the distance. F/n and Kanao both looked in the direction it was coming from. They both sprung up and ran towards it.

A buff looking man was holding Aoi and Kiyo in his arms, "lady kanao! Help us!" Aoi yelled. Kanao looked terrified, but suddenly her aura changed. She
ran after the man and pulled on his uniform.

"Ehh? What's this? Could you be more unflashy? Stop that yanking" the man said in a monotone voice. "Say something dammit!" The man yelled. The two little girls yelped, "Charge!!" They yelled in unison and started yanking on the man.

Just then Tanjiro came around the corner. "How dare you treat girls like that! Let them go!" He yelled. They all stopped struggling and looked at him.

"He's kidnapping them! Please help rescue them!" Sumi yelled. Tanjiro ran at the man, attempting to head butt him. But he disappeared and was on the fence behind them.

"You're a fool, to think you'd land one of those head butts on me? I'm Uzui Tengen, former Shinobi" He lectured. "I need some female Tsuguko to accompany me on a mission" he said. "But Kiyo isn't in the demon slayer corps!" F/n yelled.

Tengen looked at her, "that's one flashy look you have there. You'll do just fine, come with me on my mission" he said and threw Kiyo. Tanjiro caught her before she hit the ground.

"Put Aoi down. We'll go with you instead" Tanjiro told Tengen. "We?".

Inosuke and Zenitsu ran over and stood next to Tanjiro. Yui wasn't far behind them, and stood next to F/n.

"I guess you all will do, we're headed to the entertainment district. Demons reside there and we need to slay them. You'll need to infiltrate the three courtesan houses, in the attempt to pull this demon out of hiding. Can you do that?"

"You bet your old ass we can!" Inosuke yelled. "It's settled then! Let's get moving!"
