Just like everything else in The School, the schedule wasn't normal. Far from it, in fact. For instance, the third lesson was just-
Eijeh stared at his schedule. "Hey, Hayden, are we in the same classes?" He said, turning to his best friend who was currently bouncing up and down in excitement.
"I THINK SO! Here, look at mine to check." Xe handed it over.
Eijeh scanned it quickly.

"Don't jump through the roof in excitement, but we're in the same classes." Hayden grinned. "YES!" Xe paused. "And, uh, your hands are on fire. You're gonna burn something."
Eijeh jumped. "WATER WATER WATERRRRRRR!!!!"
"Couldn't you just, y'know, will the flames to go out?"
"Would that work?"
"I don't know, just try it."
Eijeh concentrated and to his delight the flames went out. "Awesome."
"Yep! Now come on, we're gonna be late!"

"Room 498, 499, 500, 501, 502!" They pushed the door open and found themselves in a class filled with chattering students milling about. The two of them made their way over to two empty desks in the middle of the classroom. Just as they sat down, an airy voice floated through the noise. "Sit down please." No one really listened. In an instant, the voice changed, becoming harsh and commanding. "I believe I told you to sit down." Everyone jumped, and those who weren't sat down scrambled to do so. The speaker materialised at the front of the room, voice back to the airy sweet sound. "Thank you. My name is Professor Lila Syzak, and I will be your teacher for the next few years." The voice changed again, and her features twisted into a sneer. "Unfortunately. If I had my way, I'd get rid of all you brats and not give it a second thought." She smiled kindly at the shell-shocked class. "So, shall we begin?"

"I teach Theory of Abilities and Talents, meaning in this class we will be focusing more on the side of things that—" She glanced towards the door. "Miss Hema. Do you need something?" A white-haired girl was at the door, looking desperate.
"Well, Professor, I left my homework for Morphing in here, and I have that now, so I was wondering if I could—?"
Professor Syzak sighed. "Yes, you may retrieve it. Just please try to not leave it here again. And be quick."
"Thank you, Professor!" The girl rushed into the room. "Now where did I put it? I remember leaving it in here, I know I did! Umm..." The girl glanced around frantically. "There! Um, excuse me! Sorry!" She almost tripped over several bags and ended up falling with a "Gah!"...Right onto Eijeh's desk. She hurriedly got up, her light brown skin tinted a furious pink, her hypnotic black-red eyes apologetic.  "I'm so sorry! But...I found the homework! I'll try not to bother you again, Professor!"
"You'd better not, Miss Hema. Now go. I don't want your teacher thinking I've kept you back." She was smiling slightly, even though her voice was stern. The girl ran out of the classroom, grinning and clutching her homework.
Syzak smiled softly. "How that girl got to where she is now, I have no idea." She refocused on her class. "So, as I was saying, in this class we will be focusing more on the non-physical side of things. An introduction to why we have the power we do, so to speak. Or perhaps I should say, lack thereof."
