He must've looked absolutely freaked out when he awoke, because Hayden refused to stop checking up on him all through Stamina and Tactics, most of which he zoned out of. They seemed...concerned. Really concerned. And at the end of the lesson, when Zia came up to them and said "Hey, Eijeh? You've been looking really pale all lesson...Are you okay?", they didn't glare at Zia. It was like all of their energy was focused on Eijeh. Zia, however, decided she was going to try and cheer Eijeh up via making random body parts disappear and reappear. When she realised that didn't work, she frowned, and murmured something about 'I'll be back later with a new plan' before disappearing. Literally.

Eijeh felt like everything he'd ever known had been put in a glass box, and he was unable to reach it. The brief sense of calm he'd felt during the last dream had vanished, leaving him bewildered and terrified for no apparent reason. As the two of them walked towards Warcraft, which was run by Adira, the clumsy vampire girlfriend of Vesper D'Arque, he felt a punch on his arm. Not too hard, but just hard enough to hurt. "Hey, loser." He turned, half in a trance, and dimly registered a sheet of silver hair and a uniform adorned with precious metals. "You should really pay more attention in class, you know."
"I— Why are you talking to me?"
"Because— Why is it your business? Anyway. What I came here to say is..." They halted. "You're strong. A fighter. You'll get through whatever's getting you down. I'm an Oracle. I know these things. And, I sort of...Well...Want to spar sometime?"
"I, uh, sure."
"Good. Now be careful, and don't let your friend crash into the doorframe, will you?" They indicated Hayden. "See you around, Eijeh Ignis." They nodded at him and ran off down the corridor. Maybe they weren't so bad after all.

"Ei? What was that all about?"
Eijeh turned to Hayden. "Ei?" He asked.
The red-head looked slightly embarrassed. "Um, it was just a nickname I thought I'd try...If you don't like it I'll stop! Promise!"
He smiled faintly. "Nah, it's fine. And as to what all that was about...I have no idea."
"Huh. Anyway, how are you feeling? Better? Worse?"
He shrugged. "Better, I guess. You've helped. A lot."
Hayden beamed with pride. "I'm here for you, Ei. Always and forever. We're besties, so we look out for each other. Right?"
"Definitely."
The two of them ran towards the classroom that was specified— Room 12. At the last moment, Eijeh remembered the order/warning the silver haired kid had given him. Don't let your friend crash into the doorframe, will you?
"HAYDEN, STOP! YOU'RE GONNA CRASH INTO THE DOORFRAME!" Hayden skidded to a stop, almost crashing into said doorframe in the process.
"Yeah, well I almost did just then. But how did you know?"
"That Oracle. The one with the silver hair."
"Huh. Not all bad then? I mean, I'm not gonna give them the thumbs-up just yet, cause they knocked out my bestie which is an absolute NOPE."
"My thoughts exactly. Now come on, let's go find a good spot."

The classroom was unlike any other, with heaps of cushions covering the floor and a raised, circular area of the floor where Adira was obviously supposed to be. She hadn't arrived yet, by the look of it. What would she be like? The sweet, klutzy girl who didn't believe in herself? The dangerous vampire everyone was terrified of? Probably the first one. But when Adira Hema walked through the door, she was neither of those things. She carried herself confidently, her face neutral and calm. When she noticed the two of them, sat there on huge purple cushions near the front, her eyes smiled slightly. As she opened her mouth to begin, Eijeh caught a glimpse of her teeth. Vampire's teeth. Well, Vesper had said she was one, but vampires tended to have...Well, light skin, around the shade of the D'Arques'. Around the colour of Adira's hair. But he decided to leave that for now. He glanced round the room, and his eyes snagged on someone mouthing 'Focus.' No prizes for guessing who that was. He refocused his attention on the front.

"Welcome to Warcraft class. I'm Adira Hema, and I run this class. I'm a fourth-year student, so I won't order you around like the teachers. This is a class in which there are no teachers except for me, who the staff count as a student teacher. I hope all of you will enjoy this class. I'm always here to help. Why do we have this class? Well...It's in case of an attack on the school. There was one 3 years ago." There were several gasps. That must've been when she was a first-year... Eijeh realised. Her voice shook as she continued. "A- A student was killed in the attack. This class will help prepare you for anything like that that may happen. So further loss of life can be prevented." She spoke for a little while longer, but no one could get those words out of their head, and the fact Adira had been shaking while she said that, while Vesper and some other fourth-years bowed their heads. Eijeh saw a tear trickling down the face of one. What had happened that day?
