I would like to dedicate this chapter to LunaChan1379 for helping me create Eijeh's roommates and generally being the best person in the history of the universe, and I could not survive without you. Literally. I'm so dumb I would not last ONE DAY without you (minus the weekend)

Dorm building housing the rooms 230-260 was stunning. There was no other way to describe it. He'd finally regained his eyesight, and he thought he was dreaming the first time he saw it. It had huge, gothic-style arches, beautiful rust coloured walls, and somehow emitted a feeling of safety in this crazed place. Even though this building would be holding 120 students maximum, it seemed like it could easily fit in another 30 or so, it was so big. Taking a deep breath, he waved goodbye to Zia and ran off to find his dorm room.

Dorm number 258 was a spacious room down the far end of the building, with a dark oak panelled door. He casually pushed open the door and saw it contained four beds, each one with a chest of drawers and armchair next to it. The beds themselves looked comfortable, and each one had a note on it. Eijeh walked over to the nearest one. 'Eijeh Ignis', it read. The pillow had a small flame stitched into the corner. He was just about to inspect the other notes to find out who he was sharing a room with, when the door opened. In ran someone Eijeh instantly pegged a troublemaker, laughing and collapsing on the bed next to Eijeh's. He was closely followed by someone with dark, dyed green hair and piercing green eyes to match. Several silver piercings lined the second's right ear.
"You shouldn't have done that, Ellowyn!" The green-haired one said nervously. "We'll get in trouble for that!"
"Oh, relax, Blair. It'll be fine. OOH, A ROOMMATE!!!!" Ellowyn bounced over to Eijeh. "WHAT'S YOUR NAME AND POWER AND HI ITS NICE TO MEET YOU I THINK I'VE SEEN YOU BEFORE AND— OH HEY LOOK!!" He pointed and both Eijeh and the one called Blair turned to see. "The window's open!!!" He announced happily. "I'm gonna jump out it!!"
"WHY?!"
"WHY NOT, BLAIR?" He squealed.
Blair lunged to grab Ellowyn. "Ellowyn, wait! It's dangerous!" The green-haired student was too slow to catch his friend and Ellowyn managed to jump out the window. Eijeh rushed over to see if the chaotic creature had survived. There was nothing on the ground. Blair, however, walked over to the door and reached for the handle.
"If better go and get hi— OW!" He was promptly it in the face by the door, hitting his head against the wall. Ellowyn ran in, grinning.
"HEY GUYS HOW COOL WAS THAT?! IMMA DO IT AGAIN!!!" And so he did.

Eijeh glanced over at Blair, who was rubbing his nose, which had turned an unfortunate shade of red to match the blood pouring from it. "How the hell is he absolutely fine?"
The student sighed. "He cab't gebt hurt. Ib's hib abiliby."
Eijeh struggled to decipher this. "He...can't...get hurt? Its his...Oh. His ability is he can't get hurt?! That's crazy powerful."
Blair nodded, one hand desperately trying and failing to stem the flow of blood. "Or he just cab't feel bain. Not sure."
"He can't feel pain." Eijeh translated. "Are you okay, by the way?"
"Not reaby." Was the muffled response.
A soft voice startled them.
"Tilt your head back. It should help." A ghostly pale boy in what seemed to be an ordinary uniform reached out and tilted his head back. "Oh, and your friend is on his way. He kinda fainted earlier. Out of shock, I think. I tried to pick him up, but...When I get nervous, I tend to...y'know." He waved his arms listlessly.
Blair bowed as best he could to the newcomer, head still tilted back. "Thank you. My name is Blair, and I owe you. What's your name?"
The boy bowed too, and for the first time Eijeh realised his feet didn't quite touch the floor, strangely. "Hoshi. My name is Hoshi."
"That's star in Japanese, isn't it?" Eijeh struggled to remember how he knew.
"Correct. And... I'm terribly sorry, but... I seem to have scared your friend. He fainted."
"You made Ellowyn faint?" Blair asked, seemingly horror-struck.
"Yes."
"What happened? Is he okay?"
"I...Well...He should be fine. And if I were you I'd move away from that door." Blair did so, at the exact moment the door crashed open once more and Ellowyn burst through.
"WOAH THERE'S A GHOST AT THIS SCHOOL IMMA FIND IT AND SHOW YOU ITS CRAZYYY!!" He froze when he saw Hoshi hovering patiently next to Blair.
"I'm sorry for making you faint earlier."
Blair frowned. "Ghost??"
"Yes. I am a ghost. Apologies if that makes you uncomfortable.."
Ellowyn unfroze and beamed at Hoshi. "Nah, it's cool." He turned towards Eijeh. "So, you know any girls? Y'know, cute or hot or beautiful ones?"
"I— Uh—"
"Aw, c'mon. Good-looking guy like you, you must've met a few. Blair?"
Blair furrowed his brow as Hoshi quietly slipped away to the last bed in the room. "Weren't you talking to that D'Arque girl earlier? And Adira Hema from Warcraft?"
Ellowyn rubbed his hands together. "Oh sweet! Two hot girls! I wonder which one will fall for me first?"
"Um, they're dating." Eijeh said awkwardly.
"WAIT WHAT?! WHO?!"
"...Each other?"
"NO THEY ARE NOT!!"
"Yup."
Ellowyn sighed dramatically. "Why are all the hot ones taken? Or gay? Or both?"
Eijeh couldn't help himself. He burst out laughing. "Alright, I'm done with social interaction with my roommates today. I'm going to find Hayden." He muttered. He grinned at Ellowyn and Blair, his two crazy roommates.

It was kinda weird that the last bed in the room wasn't taken. Maybe he hadn't arrived yet. Or had chosen to leave when he'd woken up in his room originally, like the welcome letter said you could. Either way, Eijeh felt they'd have a lot of fun, the three of them. He waved and left the room to find his best friend.
