" Bad Luck "

We arrived at the hotel all of us going into the abnormally large room the boys had rented. There were only 3 beds and 6 of us.

Scorpius and Lilah took one, Athalia and Bella took the second, and then it was just Kieran and I stuck in a bed together. As soon as our heads hit the pillows we were out.

We must have slept for 5 hours because by the time we woke up the sun had started rising and it was shining in through the windows. The light woke me up as it shun in my eyes. I began trying to get up only to be held down my an arm wrapped around me.

I peeked over my shoulder at a sleeping Kieran. I try getting up again being pulled down by Kieran's strong muscular arm and lying against his chest. "God Ember..." he huffs out against my neck.

I shudder, chills running down my spine. But when I looked over at him again he was still asleep.

I wiggled down to remove myself from his arms and walking into the kitchen. We had no food in the fridge so I groaned out. "For Merlin's sake." I muttered.

Everyone else seemed to still be asleep. Typical, the ones who got to sleep practically all night and not drive once sleep in longer.

I get a FaceTime on my phone, a random number appearing on the screen. I answer the call seeing the person who called was Justin. "Hey Ember!" He greeted. "Justin?" I whispered to make sure nobody could hear.

"How did you get my number?" I looked around the room and all I heard was Scorpius's snoring. "Uhm the one with the black hair gave me it while we were walking out." As he explained he pointed to a crumbled piece of paper.

"Look I'm in California for the college rave and was wondering if you'd like to go with me?" He scratched the back of his neck. "I don't think that's a good idea Justin..." I heard Scorpius's loud snoring falter. "Look I've gotta go, sorry!" I hung up wiping my morning eyes and stretching.

Since I was going to be up longer then anyone else in this hotel room maybe I should be responsible and do something.

So I did what any teenager would, I sat on the couch turning on the News and went on my phone. "Two men found dead in Los Angeles California this morning in an alleyway-" as I heard the news I looked up from my phone.

My eyes widened when I saw it. The two men who tried to kidnap me last night were on the news.

Dead...both of them...I didn't kill them?

Did I?

No.

Who killed them?

"The report we got back states they weren't killed by the stab wounds on their bodies but of insanity, both men threw their heads into a brick wall of the building beside them. Hitting themselves so many times they passed shortly after..." my mouth became suddenly dry.

"Another death in Arizona, a Cashier at a local gas station placed his head in the cash register and suffocated himself with the drawer." My mouth wasn't just dry now it was like I had been walking in the desert for years with no water.

I scrambled to my feet running to the sink and turning it on. My hair was damp as I placed my head directly under the faucet. Practically choking on the water I was trying to take down.

"What the fuck." I questioned myself.

"What the fuck..." I whispered again.

"What the actual fuck." I muttered repeatedly while sliding down to the floor my hands running through my knotted hair.
