Filch stood in the doorway of the classroom with the back of Covens shirt tight in his grip. "You three are coming with me." Filches disturbing voice called out to Ember and Kieran. "Fuck!" Kieran groaned out knowing he was caught in his own game.

"That's already a months detention Riddle!" The old man yelled. "Obliviate." Kieran muttered as he held his wand out at Filch.
Filch fell to the floor in slumber and would soon wake to remember nothing. Kieran took Filch by the arm and dragged him out to the hallway. Placing him up against the wall before running to find another hiding spot.

"Shit!" Ember cursed under her breath. "Please let me explain." Coven begged finally lifting his head to look at her. "Fucking hell." Ember rubbed her face in frustration. "Fine." She agreed walking forward and grabbing Covens hand.

Taking the keys from his grip and locking the door before pulling Coven along with her as she took off down the hallways. "Let me carry you." Coven insisted holding her back. Her eyebrows etched in thought.

"Hurry up." Ember caved rolling her eyes. She stood behind him as he bent down. Taking both thighs In his grip and easily lifting her. Legs wrapped around his torso and arms around his neck. As soon as she was secured he began running where she told him to. Until finally they arrived at the kitchen. Professors rarely checked the kitchens.

A small elf stood in front of them. They had dimmed lights shining in the room. "Hello." Ember awkwardly greeted while still holding onto Coven. "W-Would you like some snacks?" The house elf wondered quietly while holding up a mug of hot chocolate. "That would be lovely." Ember nodded with a kind smile.

Ember and Coven sat on the kitchen floor with mugs of hot cocoa and cookies from the elf they learnt was named Galbey. He sat in front of them as they spoke. "As I told you before, I was expelled from my last school." Coven began, Ember nodded along, and Galbey ate.

"I had earned a reputation at my former school. I was always very protective over the girls who attended. If they had been harassed, assaulted, or...worse." Coven slightly flinched as he imagined the worse situations.

"They would tell me, and I would handle it. I used to beat the boys until they were unconscious. One day a second year girl had heard about me from others. She needed help because one of the professors had done some things to her and a couple others." He spoke with his fists clenched together and jaw locked.

"It was an or worse situation. I showed up in the middle of his class and grabbed him by the throat. His class yelled and ran from the room to find help, but by the time they returned with help, I had gone too far." Galbey had stopped eating and was fully focused on the story now.

Ember was silent and frozen while she took in the information. "I shoved him through the window and he died." It's what earned him the new reputation of a sociopath.

"It went to the ministry for trial. The girls I stood up for throughout the years testified for me and I wasn't sent to Askaban. But for past situations, I was expelled. My dad was fired and we decided to start over here. Apparently people don't really care about the why." As he finished speaking he took a sip from his mug and faced them both.

"I would've done worse." Galbey spoke to break the silence while taking yet another bite of a cookie. A smile broke out on all their faces while they quietly chuckled. "I'm going to kill my siblings father." Ember shrugged making them all pause again. "He murdered my dad." She further explained while staring off. "My brother just needs to give me the go." Covens hand gripped Embers, sitting in silence.

"I'm a bad person, I know." Ember spoke before they could. "People do bad things, sometimes good people just have to make them suffer the consequences." Galbey stated with a warm smile. "You couldn't be more right Galbey." Coven agreed with a hum.
