"Jean! Come to my house! Right now!" I yelled at my phone while I'm on a call with Jean.
A week passed after the night of the dance and I had just received the best news. I just had to wait for Jean to arrive to tell him.
After what felt like hours waiting, he finally arrived, panting. I started jumping, excited.
"Look what came in the mail today." I held a letter in front of his face and he took it.
He opened it and started to read it.
“To miss (Y/n) (L/n).
We received a recommendation from a teacher of yours to try our summer course and after a lot of thinking and analysing, we decided to accept you to come learn with us for two months. Congratulations, miss (Y/n). You've been accepted at the Artsis Summer Course. We hope you get to learn a lot and have fun with us. We will teach you various kinds of art at your choice.
See you in two weeks.
A.S.C.”
"Oh my god." Jean gasped after reading. "This is great!"
"I know!" I hugged him, excited. "I'm so happy, I already started packing."
"But it's only two weeks away." He said.
"I know..." I chuckled awkwardly.
"It says here that you'll be away for two months." He noticed. "We're not gonna see you for two whole months?"
I frowned. Jean sat on my bed and I glanced at him, trying to think of what to say.
"Yeah." I finally spoke. "But when I come back, we're gonna celebrate and I'll spend more time with you all."
Jean thought for a while. "Alright." He smiled. "Now, let's tell the others about this!"
...
I woke up and six in the morning on the day that I was supposed to leave. I got ready quickly and made sure that I packed everything.
At eight, Sasha called me saying that she, Connie and Jean were outside of my house. I opened the door and Sasha and Connie jumped at me, hugging me tight.
"Why do you have to go?" Sasha cried.
"We're gonna miss you so much!" Connie sobbed.
"Guys, it's my turn now." Jean said, waiting for them to get off of me.
They let me go and hugged each other while crying. Jean approached me and gave me a big hug. I rested my chin on his shoulder and he caressed my hair.
"I'm gonna miss you." He murmured.
"Me too." I said.
"And to think that you two used to threaten each other almost every single day." Connie commented and Sasha snickered.
We all sat at the kitchen while I made some food for us to eat. Misty was sitting on Jean's lap as he scratched her ears. Him and my pets started to get along a while ago and now every time he'd come, they'd always follow him everywhere.
At eleven, the rest of the gang arrived except for Reiner and Bertholdt. I tried to call them but they would never pick up.
I warmed up some food that my mom made and they helped me set up the table. Once the food was done, we all sat on the table and at the delicious meal.
