We only had a week before winter break and our art teacher informed us that we needed to finish the portraits by the end of the week.

She let the people that were taking longer to finish to take them home but she still wanted to see them before our last class.

Today's class was really quiet since everyone was focused on their drawings but, as always, Jean had to ruin the quietness.

"So..." Jean spoke out of nowhere. "Have you thought about who to take to the dance?"

"Dude! We're not even in January and you're asking me that again?" I sighed, frustrated for his stubbornness.

"Sorry, damn." He clicked his tongue and rolled his eyes. "Just wanted to make sure you weren't feeling lonely or something. After all, I'm going with Mikasa."

"What...?" It took me a second to talk since I was still processing what had just came out of his mouth. "You asked her out?"

"Well... No."

I deadpanned. "Are you fucking kidding me? God, you are so... Ugh."

"I'm so what, (y/n)?" He smirked, flirtatiously.

"Wow, you haven't even asked her out yet and you're already cheating on her with me" I rolled my eyes.

"Answer my question, though."

"You are so stupid." I glared at him.

"Huh... I thought you would come up with something better than that." He dramatically put his hand on his chest, pretending to be offended.

"Oh, shut up, stop being so fake." I rolled my eyes. "You can't act for shit. You can't even pretend that you actually love me so much and you just tease me because you want my attention."

"Wh- Huh? I don't love you!" He kept struggling with his words while I laughed at his awkwardness. "Stop laughing, it's not funny!"

"It's pretty funny." I wiped a tear from my eye from all the laughing.

"It's not!" He almost yelled.

"(Y/n)! Jean! That's enough, to the library, now!" Our teacher yelled. Our class murmured and snickered as we grabbed our stuff to leave.

We had to sit in the same table so that we could still draw. After a few minutes of drawing in silence, Jean decided to speak.

"So, we were talking about the dance..."

"You don't want to start another fight, right?" I asked, annoyed.

"No. Actually, I wanted to make a deal with you." He calmly said.

"A deal?"

"Yes. Well, you know that I like Mikasa right?" I nodded. "You're her friend...and you knolw her... Very well..."

"Get to the point already." I told him.

"You'll help me with Mikasa."

"Uh...what?" I asked, confused.

"You'll help me ask Mikasa out, make her like me, something like that." He explained.

"And how do you plan to do that?"

"You know, you talk about me and...other stuff..." He replied.

"I see... What do I get in return?" I asked.

"Do you currently like someone? I can help you with them or something, i don't know." He shrugged.

"Hm, no. I need something else." I put my hands on the table and raised an eyebrow at him. "What do you got for me, Kirstein?
