"Whatcha doing here?" Someone suddenly spoke, startling me.

"Gosh, Jean. Don't scare me like that." I looked behind me, putting my hand on my chest.

He chuckled. "You should be sleeping at this hour."

"It's still kinda early... I think." I said.

"It's three in the morning."

My eyes widened. "See, it's not that late." I chuckled awkwardly and looked to the side.

He walked towards the other chair next to me and sat on it. Then, he hugged his knees and tilted his head to the side.

"Well, at least I finally get to spend some time alone with you." He grinned. He noticed what was in my arms and his eyes widened. "You kept it."

"What?" I looked at where he was staring at and smiled. "Yeah. I wasn't just gonna throw it away. This plushie is staying with me until I die."

"How come I never saw it in your room?" He asked.

"It was always under the blankets." I told him. "My turn to ask questions, why the mullet?"

"Oh...Uh...Why? You don't like it?" He started avoiding my gaze.

"I do, I just wanna know why. I'm curious." I explained.

"Oh, there's no particular reason, I just felt like doing it." He said. "Also, don't make the same question to the guys, especially Connie."

"Why?" I raised my eyebrow and squinted my eyes.

"Because... Just don't do it." He tried to give me a genuine smile but his awkwardness wasn't helping, making me think that he was hiding something.

"Sure...I won't do it." I said, still suspicious of him.

"Anyway, I brought this," Jean took an acoustic guitar from his side and put it on his lap. "You weren't sleeping so I figured that I could help you out with this."

"Since when do you play guitar?" I asked.

"I started playing when I was like ten." He told me. "Then I stopped for a while but Connie convinced me to start playing again."

"Why, does he want a band or something?"

"Pretty much." He chuckled. "Okay, get yourself ready to sleep."

I covered myself in the blanket while hugging Nobara tightly and gave him a thumbs up.

At first, he was trying to see which cords he should play and then he started strumming. I watched his fingers play the strings and listened to the music they were making.

While I was watching him, my eyes began to get heavy and I eventually fell asleep as I listened to the sweet melody that he was playing.

I woke up in the room on the next day with Connie and Sasha screaming. I rubbed my forehead, groaning, and tried to get myself to leave the bed.

I suddenly heard water running in the bathroom so I grabbed my pillow to use it as a shield in case the person in the bathroom was a stranger.

I slowly opened the door and then kicked it as I let out a scream when I saw that there was actually someone in there.

"Woah!" Jean gasped.

"What are you doing here?" I screamed. "Did you sleep here?!?"

"No." He chuckled. "When I brought you here, I took your little friend with me without realizing and then I came to give it back to you this morning."
