"You okay?" I sat next to Ranboo, who's forehead was rested against Ollie's dining table, a blanket had been thrown upon him, and Ollie sat across from the forlorn boy, eating some microwave ramen.
"I'm grieving." He muttered, not moving an inch as I slid into the chair next to him, "Ollie can explain, I don't want to think."
I turned to the brunette across the table, who seemed rather calm about this as she continued for Ranboo, "His lover's parents took away internet and locked her in her house."
Ranboo sighed again, and I looked between the two in half confusion, half melancholy, "They're lovers?"
"Not confirmed, yet he doesn't deny it." Ollie shrugged, digging around her Styrofoam cup.
"I'm cold." Ranboo mumbles, pulling the fleece against his shoulders, yet his head stays rested on the wood.
"Are you sick?" I ask softly, leaning down ever so slightly to get to his level (which was an unusual circumstance for us). Ranboo stays silent.
"Eat your ramen," Ollie reminded, tapping on the table, "He's been like this for hours."
"Maybe you should get some sleep," I say, ruffling through his hair slightly, "might clear your head."
There was a long pause before Ranboo hummed in acknowledgement, "I'm going to the couch."
"Okay," Ollie watched meticulously as he got up from the table and walked through to the living space, "tell us if you need anything."
There wasn't a response from Ranboo, so Ollie resumed a hushed conversation,
"Details?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at the teen.
"From what I know, Keira basically told Vee's parents that we were bad influences, which pipelined into all of her electronics being taken away and not being able to leave the house except for school, this whole thing is supposed to last 'a month or two' according to Vee, but she didn't seem very confident about that statement."
I thought for a long moment, "are Ranboo and Vee a full-on thing now?"
"You're really out of touch with us aren't you." Ollie sighed, sarcasm dripping from her tone.
"I've had school sh*t to catch up on."
"What about the iPad kid you've been keeping hostage." She mentioned, crossing her arms.
"I'm not keeping him hostage, he's free to leave whenever he pleases." I acknowledged, keeping my features lax as I mention Alex, "Now answer my question."
"Neither of them have told me anything, which is lowkey betraying, but I'm 99.9% sure they kissed today before Vee left." She put her feet up on the table, which I shooed off moments after.
I smiled, Ranboo was happy, and that was more important than anything. "That's nice."
"It is." Ollie nodded, finishing her ramen, and setting the Styrofoam on the table, "He's so in love."
