Elsa's POV

I woke up early to the feeling of Jack's arm tied around my waist as Elijah squirmed in place for a bit. Careful not to wake either of them up, I lift Jack's arm off me and rest it on Elijah. I get off the bed and put my morning robe and slippers on.
The kitchen of our new home is completely full, my dad had bought us anything we would need. Quietly I strip the plastic stickers off the stove and begin making pancakes. I had a window open to help get rid of the smoke from the frying butter but it's not enough to keep the hungry boys away. Soon Jack walks in with Elijah in his arms sucking on a pacifier.
"Pancakes?" I offer my half awake fiancé as Elijah fusses for the plate of pancakes I had just finished.
"Mmm, thank you." jack said yawning taking the plate and kissing my forehead. He set Elijah down on his feeding chair and took the seat next to him. "So when do we have to get ready for the date?" he asked half asleep.
Elijah sneezed loudly and spat out on his daddy's face. "Oh haha, here." I giggled as I took Elijah into my hands and bounced him slightly as jack wiped his face off. "Anna said we should meet up at the waffle place at 3, so I made an appointment with my mom to take care of Elijah."
"You had to make an appointment with your mom?" jack asked as he drowned his pancakes in syrup and slapped some butter on top.
"Yeah, she's a very busy woman." I admitted as I wrapped Elijah in my arms and quickly sat him down in his new feeding chair when I smelt the smoke of a burning pancake.
"That's strange." he yawned as he took a big bite.
"Yeah, well your relationship with your dad is strange too." I said to him carefully. I've wanted to help him get through this situation but he seems to just ignore the whole thing.
"I'll talk to him." he said muffled by the mouthful of pancake in his mouth. He swallowed what he had in his mouth, got up, and left. Walked to the room and slowly shut the door.
I knew it was what I said that made him leave the room. I sighed as I turned the stove top off and put Elijah in his play pen. I walked into the room, and saw how jack laid there with his arms crossed over his face covering his eyes.
"Hey..." I whispered as I crawled into bed next to him.
"Oh hey." he said smiling as he took his arms off his head and wrapped them around me.
"Why do you do that?" I asked about how he tried to cover the fact that he was obviously hurt and was trying to hide it.
"Do wh..." he didn't finish because my questionable brow lift made him stop mid-sentence. "I don't know, I just... it's difficult to deal with. I just don't know how to feel about any of it." He whispered as he let his face turn into a frown.
"I'm sorry, honey. If you want you can talk about it with me." I offered and he gave me a small smile.
"Thanks, maybe another day though like a day when we don't have a date." he smiled as he wiped his eyes and stood up.
"Alright." I smiled and kissed his cheek as he grabbed a nice blue shirt out of his closet.
We went back to the kitchen after eating our pancakes, then after cleaning up and playing with Elijah we got ready for our day out.
"This is great." I smiled brightly as I put on my matching blouse.
"Yeah, it feels great to be able to go out again." he smiled back as he fixed his shoe laces.
"Shall we go?" I faked a regal accent as I gabbed my pocket book.
"We shall." jack said in the same accent and laughed as he hugged me.
Then the door rang, I opened the door to find my mom.
"Thanks for watch our son, mom." I said as I hugged my mom.
"My pleasure! Besides it's good to see my grandson." She beamed as se took Elijah from me and hugged jack. "How are you, son?" she asked smiled as she rubbed Elijah's head.
"Good, thank you." jack replied. I could tell he welcomed the change, usually my parents weren't too welcoming or at least my dad never was. "How are you, Madame?"
"Oh! call me mom." she smiled and turned to smirk at Elsa. "I know. now, go on. Anna's probably waiting for you two right now."
"Thanks again, mom." I waved goodbye as me and jack left, Elijah watched with testy eyes as we shut the door.
"Where to?" jack asked as he pulled the car keys out of his pocket.
"You'll see." I teased as I took the keys from his hand.
He smirked as he went over to the passengers seat and chuckled. "Alright, but where are we going?"
"Anna had a whole day planned. Be prepared for anything." I warned as I started the car.

Sorry that I've been even more absent than usual. It's just I've been dealing with a really, really, really rough patch in my relationship lately :/ I don't really want to say but it's been stressing me out. I've not been on in several days and thankfully for whatever reason writing helps me get my mind of the betrayal. Thanks for reading :') I'll post soon, I hope.
