A Second Chance

Jack Gets "Closure"

Jack's Point of View:

I turn around in horror.
"Bunny? You cheated on me with the one guy I can't stand?" I say in complete disbelief.

She nodded her head with tears starting to form. I guess I still care about her because I walk up to her and hold her close to me.

At first we were both stiff but eventually we both settled into it. I pulled away. Then I realized I had to let go if I want to start over.

"I forgive you, Taylor." I grab my suitcase "..and I'm going to Norway."

I turn around without another word.
I put the suitcase in the back of my car and begin to drive off to the airport.

There in front are my friends from the hockey and family. I smile as I approach them. At first they all stare at my new hair style.

At first glance they look at me confused by my bleached hair, then after my team mates tease me by saying things like:
'Whoa hey grandpa Jack.' To which
I just rolled my eyes playfully. I said my goodbyes to all the team mates.

Then I turn to my family. I hug and say good bye to Uncle North and Sandy. When I turn to the rest of my family my heart sank a little.

My dad looked sad, almost like he was in pain. My mom looked like she was about to break down and cry. But worst of all was how my little sister looked. She looked tired from having to be up at this early hour but you can also see she was sad.

I hug my dad good bye and he tells me: "Good luck, son. We'll come visit soon." I nod at him.

I turn to my mother who is lightly crying.
"Oh mom don't cry I'll be fine." I say in a cherry tone as I hug her trying to comfort her.
"I know it's just ill miss you so much." She says as she pulls away smiling.

Then I bend down to be eye level with my little sister.
"Hey Olivia, come here." I say as I pull her close to me to hug her.
"I'm going to miss you." She said crying a bit.

"Hey it'll all be okay. Think of it as a game. It's like you're queen here and I'm your royal explorer. I go over to new places and come back to show you what cool things they have." I say smiling as I see that she is starting to feel better.

"Okay but come back soon, and bring back candy from the new places." she jokes and we both laugh as we hug. I pull away and kiss her forehead.
"I will." I say as I get back on my feet.

I wave goodbye to everyone one last time and get on the plane. I watch the plane take off and then sleep the entire trip. I wake up just in time to see the plane land.

Once I get off the plane and get my stuff, I go outside and look for the person my coach said will show me around.

Sure enough I see a big tall guy with blonde hair who is holding a sign with my name on it and the town hockey logo on it.

I approach the guy and hold my hand out to shake his hand.

"Hi. I'm Jack." I say smiling trying to make a good first impression.

"I'm Kristoff." he says as he shakes my hand.
