Jack's Point of View

I had finished packing when I saw Elsa had left her cooking iron in my kitchen. I went to pack it up and started tearing up as I thought about that night.

That night meant the world to me, she'd become my world and now I had to shift my focus onto my unexpected child from a women I no longer loved.

I sniffled and hiccuped as I wrote a messy note on a piece of paper I'd found in my jumper pocket.

'Elsa, I know you'll probably never forgive me. And I'll learn to except that. Maybe one day things will be better between us, maybe. I don't know if you care anymore but I still love you. -Jack'

I folded the paper and put it on top of the box as I left it in front of her door.

As I looked up I remembered her reaction and turned away heart broken.

I grabbed my suitcase and boxes and quickly moved them to my truck. It was the middle of the night and I couldn't see anything as I left the building with the last box.

"Hey!" I heard a cold voice behind me.
