Down Time

Jacks POV

Me and Hic finish our shifts and I drive us to the nearest bar. His car broke a while back so he hangs out with me till Astrid can come and get him.

I walk into the familiar setting and sink into one of the stools of the bar. I turn to Hic and smirk "Want anything? My treat." I offered as the bar tender hands me my regular.

I've been here everyday since I got back and because of my regular appearance, I've become a valued customer. It's gotten to the point that as soon as I sit down my tab is opened and my favorite booze is placed in my hand.

"Scotch Soda?" Hic asked as he cringed his nose probably disgusted by the smell.

"My favorite." I confirmed with a smirk as I threw a gulp down and looked around the place.

I spotted an attractive brunette with bangs and sensual curves. She looks over and spots me looking at her, I flash her a teasing smirk and wink at her. To my pleasure she blushes a bit and I take that as my signal to go over there and try my luck.

As I fixed my sleeves to show off my arms, Hic grabs hold of my belt loop and pulls me back to my seat. I turn to glare at him and he glares right back at me.

"What the hell?" I whisper annoyed as I stand back up.

"Why are you doing this? huh! You know this isn't you, so unless you can live with being a conniving creep..." he said madly but stopped as he regretted what he'd called me.

I just stood there looking down at my shoes and knocked back the rest of my drink. "Go on." i said narrowly.

"Just... you had something real, Jack. So don't let that be the only love that you felt, don't make that the last time you were happy. ...Promise me this, swear that you wouldn't go over there and sleep with the girl only to never speak to her again and move on the next attractive girl you can convince to ride you. Only go over there if you're willing to make something out of your relationship and not just a one night fling. Okay?" he said with tough love as I looked back and forth from him and my hands.

"Yeah... okay, I swear. It's time to move on anyway. besides..." I chuckle sadly "... it's not like I'll ever get her back, right?" I tried to make it seem like a fact when deep inside I hoped I was wrong.

Hic looks at me with sad eyes and shrugs. "I don't know about that, but... it's time you tired again." He patted my back as Astrid walked in and looped her arm around Hic.

They smiled at each other and shared a simply kiss.

I remember when I shared simple kisses with Elsa. They were nothing more than pecks but they made me feel amazing every time.

I turned to my drink and watched as the fiancés walked off holding hands.

I took a deep breath and walked over calmly to the brunette I'd spotted earlier. She was now sitting alone and I took advantage of it.

"Hello." I smiled warmly at the girl as I grabbed the chair in front of her. "Mind if I sit with you?"

"Not at all." she smiled back as a blush spread across her checks.

She looked at my hand as I rested them on the table.

"What's with the rings?" she asked with a smile and traced her finger around them.

I shifted in my seat as I pushed the memory away.

"It's just something I got... as a, uh, gift-type of thing." I coughed as I couldn't help but remember how I got the rings.

The first ring was ice blue and the second was a chill light blue.

I smiled as I let myself enjoy the memory instead of being pained by it.

It was the day before me and Elsa decided to make our relationship official. We had gone to the mall after practice and I had managed to clean my face up enough so that she wouldn't notice my pummeled face. "Lets go there." I pointed to a jewelry store ahead of us.

She has her arm locked with mine as we walked through the chilly air. "Um, sure." she agreed as we entered the place and exchanged funny looks at each other when we saw all the romantic decorations.

We both went off in different directions and I had boughten a silver bracelet with a small snowflake design on it. I even had her name engraved on the box.

Then I saw Elsa waiting for me at the door and I walked toward her with the box I'd just boughten.

She had one as well and locked her arm around mine again, "Lets go get a coffee." she giggled as we made our way quickly over to the cafe next door.

We grabbed our cups and sat down at a small high table with wooden stools and smiled at each other as we both reached to grab the boxes from our pockets.

"I...i ugh, got you something." I stammered as I placed the box in front of her hands.

"So did i." she smiled fondly at me as she placed my gift in my hand.

I felt my cheeks heat up as her hand touched mine. I looked back down to open my gift and saw the two rings in the box. I slipped them on and smirked as I made a fist and looked at the rings. "Thanks, Elsa. Do you, um, lo-like your gift?"

She jumped up from her chair and moved her hair out of the way from her neck. "Yes, I love it. could you put it on for me?" she asked sheepishly as I carefully put the piece on her.

She turned and touched the patterns with her fingers and I felt the rings on my fingers.

"Thanks, jack." She said happily as she pulled me into a hug and we stayed that way for the longest time.

"What's your name?" the girl asked me as I snapped out of the memory in time to see she'd ordered drinks.

"Oh, sorry. I lost my train of thought. Im Jack, Jack Frost." I explained as I took my drink and drank it in one gulp.

"Well, Jack... I'm Nikki. How about we get out of here, Jack?" She said seductively as he held my hand and ran her hand up my arm, sending me into a fit.

"Sure..." I said as I remembered what I promised Hic "um, how about we go to my place?" It might not have been what Hic would have wanted but it's the best I've done since then.

"Okay, let's go." She smirked as she placed a kiss on my cheek.

I drove her to my place and as I parked the car in my driveway she pulled me close to her and kissed and lightly bit at my neck.

We then proceed to make it to the bedroom and by the end of it she got off from on top of me and laid on the bed next to me.

"Thanks, Nikki... but how about we make this a regular thing... not just a one night stand?" I offered as I panted and looked at her pert body.

She smirked and laid down on top of my bare chest. "Are you asking me out, Jack?" she asked as she ran her hands around in my hair.

"Yes I am" I said confidently and dragged her head down into a passionate french kiss.

She kisses back and moans a bit into it.

We pull away smirking at each other and she playfully feels around my chest. "Ok, I'm all yours." she smiles and kisses me passionately again. Eventually leading into a second round.
