Jacks POV

Since I can't work because of my brace; I've become your regular stay at home dad.
I get up early in the morning and kiss my wonderful fiancée good morning. Then as she gets up and ready for work I'm in the other room getting Elijah up and ready for our day.
"Hey, Buddy. How'd you sleep? Cause you sure kept me and mommy up, you're a hungry little guy aren't you?" I babbled on to my son in my best baby voice, earning me a surprise giggle from Elsa.
"Baby talk? Really, Jack? It's cute though." she smirked as she came over to me and held my close as I continued to change Elijah.
I buttoned up his shirt and slipped his pants on, "Can you help with putting the shoes on? He doesn't fuss when you're the one doing it." I simply state as I step aside and throw away the dirty diaper and wipes. She nodded and grabs his small feet, kissing them and tickling them making Elijah laugh uncontrollably before his foot was shoved into his tiny sneakers.
"These are so cute, to bad he always outgrows them so quick." She giggles as she rubs Elijah's cubby cheeks and plants soft kisses on his soft forehead.
"Yeah, he is already getting to big for his pjs; maybe later we can go to the store and buy him things." I say with a smile as I watch the woman I love playing motherly with our little man.
I chuckle as I leave to the bathroom to wash my hands. I leave the door open and am soon followed by my fiancée and our son. "Some body wants his daddy." she said with a smile as I dried my hands off to hold my son in my hands.
"Daddy's here!" I chuckled as I held Elijah above my head and lightly swinging his around to make him seem like he was flying. "It's a flying baby." I chuckle as Elijah smiles gleefully and laughs with complete joy.
I bring him down lower and swing him back and forth so his face reaches Elsa's then swings back. His wet smile of his small open toothless mouth shaped in my signature smirk.
"Gives us a kiss, love." I ask in my best comical cockney accent as I swing his face closer to Elsa's making them both giggle.
My hands on Elijah's sides as I swing him back and then glide him forward to Elsa's face. "My little hero." she smiles as she plants a kiss on his tiny rosy cheeks.
"I deserve more than that." I say again with the funny accent as Elijah coos at the sight of Elsa.
As Elijah's face nears his new adopted mother's face he extends his arms forward and grabs her cheeks as he presses his lips on her nose leaving behind the mark of his wet kiss.
"Aww!" Elsa practically squealed as she quickly took him from me and cuddled him close to her chest. "My little boy, you make your mommy so happy."
She said lovingly as I leaned against the wall watching with a smile, and take a moment to take in how lucky I am to have what I do with them.
Then the ringing of Elsa's phone sounds, meaning she has less than 20 minuets to get to work.
"Ugh, why couldn't it be Friday." She groaned as she handed Elijah back to me.
"Well, Friday is tomorrow so I thought since its your day off we could go out... you know me and you and super-baby." I said motioning toward the drooling baby pulling at the collar of my shirt.
She giggled as she grabbed her lunch and headed for the door with her keys at hand. "Sounds perfect, see you two later." she kissed us goodbye and went off to work.
At the sound of her car leaving I put Elijah on his mat in the center of the living room.
"Boys day, what you want to do Elijah?" I asked as if Elijah could speak at 5 months old.
He rolls his eyes above me to the TV and giggles. "TV time?" I question as I turn the TV on and flip to the animal channel. "Your mom doesn't have to know... right?" I smirk at my son as he giggles then turns his big blue eyes toward the screen to watch the penguins marching through the ice.
For the rest of the evening I sit on the floor with Elijah contently watching the various animals that come onto the screen. I chuckle along with him every now and again and soon feel the familiar sensation of Elijah slapping my face. "Ow... what is it now?" I groan as I turn his on his belly and check his diaper- clean. "Are you hungry?" I ask as I get up and hold Elijah against my shoulder.
"Lets feast, my boy." I joke as I pull out how favorite-- a strawberry and banana baby food Elsa makes for Elijah. Apparently this is what her mother made for her and Anna when they were babies.
I set him down in his feeding chair and start to feed him his pink saucy food. He then gestures for Cheerios, he always makes erratic squeezing motions with his hands for them.
I pour him and my self a bowl, I add milk to mine as I watch Elijah carefully pick up individual Cheerios and musingly try to get it in his mouth.
I chuckle as I eat and watch my son use all his mental power into what I see as a simple task.
After I clean up after my little monster and settle down in the bed of mine and Elsa's, I set him down on Elsa's fluffy yet firm pillow and watch his drift to sleep as I rub baby lotion on his sensitive skin.
Suddenly a loud ringing from my phone wakes up Elijah into a crying fit. I groan frustrated as I pick up the call and cradle Elijah back slowly to sleep.
"Hello, Jack Frost."
'Jack, baby it's me.'
"Hey, gorgeous. Whats going on? Your call woke the baby up."
'Sorry, but you might want to keep him awake. Could you two come over here to my office? It's important.'
"Something wrong?" I ask as I begin to pack our things and head for the door to my car.
'No, nothing bad actually more like a miracle.' She says happily as I hold the phone to my ear with my shoulder as I secure Elijah in his seat.
"Miracle? Okay, we'll be there in a bit." I answer as I get in and start the car.
'Okay, great, thanks and I love you...'
"I love you too" I then pretend to couch and let out an audible "..More."
'Sure you do, Jack. I love you more than the whole world.'
"Oh yeah, well I love you to the moon and back." I proclaim as I drive into the main road.
'I love you through this whole galaxy and ...
Elsa, what are you doing?
I-I'm calling my hus..fiancée... I'll be right there.' she stammered as one of her coworkers caught our conversation.
"Haha, okay you win this time. you've been embarrassed enough."
'Gee, thanks. Well, like you just heard I've got work but my lunch break is soon so I'm going to see you two later in my office right?'
"Absolutely."
'Okay, love you. Bye.'
"Love you too, Bye."
I drove into the hospital parking lot and headed to the third floor with Elijah in his car seat in my hands and a blue owl diaper bag across my shoulder. I get off the elevator and head to Elsa's office while Elijah sleep in his chair.
As I sit on the wooden chair of her new office, which is filled with photos of me, her and Elijah, I let my mind wander as to what she has to say.
