"With 2 minutes left on the clock the Trojans are down six and the bears are up". The announcer said.

"For those of you just joining, we have the Lincoln High school Trojans and the Temple Bay bears fighting for a ring tonight". The announcer stated.

"The Trojans, Kyrie Thomas have had an amazing game, but the bears Chris Robinson has been standing out". The other announced said.

"Question is which guy wants the ring more". The third announcer said as the timeout ended.

Kyrie fixed the strings on his basketball shorts before looking at the clock and then back to reality.

Kyrie caught the pass and the ball was threw in to him, his coach always told him 2 minutes was a lot of time in basketball.

Kyrie called an iso play which was one of very specialties. Kyrie was rather confident then cocky and in the moment he knew he was able to score.

He knew that his teammates were depending on him, the crowd and most importantly his mom.

Kyrie drove in doing a backhand reverse layup before coming down extremely hard.

He laid there in pain, unable to move the crowd immediately went from cheering to silence.

"Kyrie Thomas with a bucket so make it a two point possession"!! The announcer said.

"Thomas isn't getting up, let's hope this isn't bad. Thomas has offers from Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi state, Florida State, Auburn and plenty more". The announcer spoke.

"The trainer is coming". Another announcer said.

Kyrie knew this was his last his school game, and he knew he wasn't going to finish it. This left him him hurting, this was a permanent scar for him, the pain he felt was unbearable.

Basketball kept him straight, it kept him away from so many problems he could've faced as a young black teen.

"Their taking Thomas to the locker room, he won't be back. Let's pray for him and a speedy recovery. It looks like a left knee injury". He added.

The bears now had the ball bringing it down court, the time was running down it was currently 1:30 on the clock.

"Chris for three". The female announcer said, "and it's good"! The make announcer added.
