𝐽𝑎'𝑀𝑎𝑟𝑙𝑜𝑛 𝐾𝑦𝑟𝑖𝑒 𝑇ℎ𝑜𝑚𝑎𝑠 Baton Rouge, Louisiana Southern University and A&M College March {20}
"Okay so just drink a little"? I chuckled looking at the lady. The other day I had gotta a call from my body armor deal, they added a new flavor and here I was about to sponsor it.
My mom was here with me, she wanted the pictures for memories as well as to send it to our other family members.
"Alright let's snap a few more and then we're gonna talk". The lady spoke as I nodded, letting them snap a few more pictures.
"okay so as you know, the pictures come back within 3-4 days but we wanna do something bigger". She spoke as I stood up slightly stretching and giving her my full attention.
"We're gonna do a video, with you and body armor. It'll promote us in a very fun and interesting way, as well as promoting you as a athlete and building you a supporting fan base". She spoke as I smiled.
"Especially since it is March madness time". She added. For those who didn't know March Madness is one the biggest events in college basketball.
It's a single tournament elimination game. The main goal is to be the last one standing, just like anything else, it also showcase most of the best athletes in college basketball.
I couldn't lie as if I wasn't getting the recognition I wanted, but it was so much more than I wanted for myself, I just wanted to be great.
"yeah, uh that's fine". I replied snapping out of my thoughts as she gave me a warm smile. "Okay, we'll the video will take longer but no more than a week. but we'll get everything back to you in one piece". She smiled as they started to put all the equipment up.
"Aww I'm so proud of you". My mom coo'd hugging me as I hugged her back, "are you excited for March madness? it's your first time". She asked smiling.
"I'm a bit nervous but I'm excited". I explained to her, we then headed out the gym and towards my moms car.
"I gotta be at work in a hour, so I'll see you later baby". My mom told me hugging me as I returned the hug.
"alright". I responded watching her drive off as I headed towards my dorm.
My mom and dad "insisted" that I took Kaydence shopping today because they want us together so bad, and I couldn't quite tell them no so after practice I'd be taking her to the mall.
I made it back to my dorm, since it was spring break month as well I was more than piled up with work. I was hoping to finish all my things ahead of time because this month was full of events.
But I was still managing my grades along with playing sports and that's been one of my biggest accomplishments, I just hope I can keep going.
