𝐽𝑎'𝑀𝑎𝑟𝑙𝑜𝑛 𝐾𝑦𝑟𝑖𝑒 𝑇ℎ𝑜𝑚𝑎𝑠 Baton Rouge, Louisiana Southern University and A&M College April {22}
"This fucking headache ain't no joke". I mumbled to myself, after winning the championship every thing died down after a while of celebrating for a week straight.
Everybody's main focus was finishing the year off strong and going home for the summer. I still did conditioning and weight lifts for the most part but besides that I didn't do much but tend to my school work.
The last day of school for me was winding down, since I only had two finals to take it wasn't really much for me to do but focus on them. I had already gotten my graduation things.
So once I pass my exams it was nothing more for me to do but graduate. I was more than ready to leave Louisiana, I enjoyed my four years here but it's nothing like being back in Florida or just being at home.
I've learned a lot and I've definitely grown as a man, and I'm proud to say I'm happy with who I am and who I am still working on:
I snapped out of my thoughts seeing the door swing open and Kaydence walked in. We planned to go out later on tonight since everybody else planned something we figured why not do something as well.
"I know we suppose to be hanging out later, but I been in my dorm all day alone and bored". She pouted, "I thought I was gone die". She exaggerated making me laugh.
"Ian doing nun but some last minute studying, I been in the gym practically all day". I responded watching her sit beside me.
"you ready for graduation? I feel like that's such a big step for all of us". She asked me as I thought about it.
"It is but I'm actually ready, I can't lie this college shit feel like we been doing this forever". I told her, "I agree. I'm ready to start over, move and just live". She replied.
"hell yeah, I'm glad this damn school recommended us for jobs in Tampa and we got em". I said.
"definitely". She sighed, our conversation got cut short when my phone started to ring.
"Hey baby, what you doing"? My mama asked, "I was studying but I'm probably about to take a break now". I told her standing up stretching.
"well I made those chicken tender fajitas you and yo bald headed ass daddy like". She told me making me and Kaydence laugh.
"Cmon why I gotta be bald". I heard my dad say, "anyways feel free to come over, well boy you know you live here". She spoke.
"alright I'm bringing Kaydence".'I notified her, "that's fine and also we um sold this house already, Josiah surprised me with a nice ass house in Tallahassee which he could've told me about but I'm thankful".
"the buyer is moving in the day of your graduation. so me and your dad will probably head out to Tallahassee that night or we'll find something nice to stay in". She responded.
