{19}"So you ready to talk"? Kaydence asked Kyrie who had moved to the side to let her in. Jamo and Qua were currently at a party so it was only Kyrie home.
Kyrie sat on the couch and motioned for Kaydence to follow behind and sit beside him.
Kyrie hated expressing his feelings because he felt so weak, and that's what people use to tell him, he was always told he was suppose to suck it up and deal with it.
As much as he didn't want to talk about it, he felt safe with Kaydence and knew he could trust her and Kaydence was not gonna walk out without him telling her what was on his mind.
"I'm just overwhelmed". He started to say sighing, while rubbing his face and turning towards Kaydence, and the look in his eyes told her that he was serious.
"everybody keeps telling me it's okay to not be okay but when will I be okay"? He asked frowning slightly as Kaydence just listened and waited for him to finish.
"Like I'm still hurting from the breakup, sports have been kicking my ass more than usual with the first game coming up and just the adrenaline of getting ready to play again, and not to mention school". He explained.
"I'm losing my shit Kaydence foreal, it ain't no peace in this". He told her as she frowned a little.
"and I don't know what to do. I just feel... really alone". He whispered because he was slightly embarrassed but she heard him.
She stood to her feet and stood in front of him, as she pulled him up and brought him into a hug.
"I'm so sorry you feel this way". She began to say, she was never the type to give the normal speech a person would give someone if they were in her shoes.
"I know how you feel, and I understand. I can only help so much and do so much to make you feel better". She continued as Kyrie focus was directly on her.
"But you're not alone because I'm here, even if I'm not around I'm still here. and I don't ever plan to leave your side Kyrie".
"I know things can get hard and make you second guess things, but you're built for this. and two years from now, when we walk across that stage together, you're gonna be grateful for the rough times and how far they brought you". She spoke with a smile making him smile.
"and you loved Tiara, kyrie you loved her! you have the right to still be upset and heartbroken and nobody can tell you otherwise because they aren't in your shoes". She frowned.
"everything you're feeling is normal, we're human". She chuckled holding his hand.
Kyrie was more than grateful for what Kaydence had told him because he did not even know if he was going to even make it through the rest of the day.
