Chap_25. Dinner Outside

Finding Arnav all speechless, Areesha spoke up, “What’s the matter, Arnav?”

Arnav got uttering, “She also has fear of blood, Api.”

Payel spoke up all hopefully, “Then she is..” but stopped at this point, “Why is she behaving like this, Vai? Did you talk to her? What's the problem actually?”

Arnav was all determined, “Whatever it is, I will see through it.”

When Maya was almost done with her work, Nayeem entered her cabin, “Done?”

“Almost.”

Nayeem got uttering while giving her a hopeful look, “Let’s get dinner together tonight.”

Maya gave him a questioning look, “Why?”

Nayeem faked a hurt expression and spoke up, “What do you mean by why? Can’t I wish to take dinner outside sometimes with my fiancee?”

Maya smiled a little and nodded, “Okay.”

Nayeem uttered getting all excited, “Great. I will pick you up at 8.”

Nodding at him, Maya concentrated on the file, she was working on earlier. When she was done, she got out of the cabin. Nayeem was waiting for her. Dropping Maya at her place, he left from there.

Seeing her, Ema spoke up, “You are back! Great. Go, get freshen up first.”

Nodding at her smilingly, Maya walked towards her room. When she was done, she entered Zareef’s room.

He was sleeping then. Closing the door, she stood by Ema helping her in the kitchen.

While gossiping on random kinds of stuff, Ema got asking her trying to sound all casual, “Maya, who is Arnav actually?”

Maya gave her a questioning look, “Hmm?”

“That day you asked me if I knew someone of that name. That’s why I am asking.”

Maya got explaining her, “Now he is one of our client, Vabi. Actually when we first met at the reception party of Ria, he mistook me as his wife, Khushi who looked like me.”

Ema couldn’t get to utter anything rather she was getting more confused as Maya went on, “You know he almost took risk with his life last night to get confirm whether I am Khushi. That's why I invited him in and showed him our family album. And finally he got convinced that I am not his Khushi but your Maya.”

Are you really our Maya?

Ema got thinking staring at her but couldn’t get to utter anything.

Maya spoke up again, “You know Vabi, Arnav really loves Khushi very much. It's visible in his eyes.”

Ema was about to ask her something but got interrupted as Maya’s phone rang off.

It was Nayeem.

Seeing his name flashing on the phone screen, she checked the time.

It was just 7. She received the call, “Hello.”

“Are you ready?”

Like all other times she was not much of interested, “Nayeem, it’s just 7. There is still long time to 8.”

Ema knitted her brows not understanding what their conversation was referring.

“I will be there before 8. Be ready.”

“Okay.” Maya cut off the line.

Not being able to resist anymore, Ema asked Maya, “What’s going on?”
