I SAT down on the log, Carlos joined me and I placed my head on his shoulder. "So, what are we going to do?"
"About what? Oh." He exclaimed as Dude licked his nose.
"The wand." I chuckled, reminding him.
"O-oh, right. I have no idea." He admitted. "So, who's your father?" I looked down immediately. No one else knew but me and one other person in the world.
"Oh, s-sorry. You don't need t-to tell me now." He apologized quickly noticing my change of mood, lifting his head up.
"No, it's fine. But I won't tell you, you'll find out.. in time." I sighed, caressing the pet's cheek. I took out my phone and checked the time, 2:58 p.m. "We should head back to the dorms, I have homework."
"You actually do the work?" Carlos looked at me, away from Dude.
"Well, yeah. I mean, I'll get detention if I don't, and with detention then I can't steal the wand and stuff. You should too though." I shrugged, rubbing the back of my neck.
He hummed now understanding.

I sat at the end of my bed, too lazy to take my boots, with chains dangling off them, off. I was doing my English homework while Jane was rambling, Mal was drawing, and Evie was sewing.
"If a boy can't see the beauty within, then he's not worth it.' Can you believe it? What world does she live in?" She asked Mal, speaking about her mother.
"Auradon?" The purple-haired girl scoffed.
"Mal, do you like?" Evie asked, turning off the machine and lifting up a dress.
"Yeah, it's cute. It brings out your eyes." She glanced up.
"I know." Evie cooed, admiring her work.
"I'll never get a boyfriend." Jane complained, flopping down on my bed behind me.
"Boyfriends are overrated." Mal blew on her paper as I closed my workbook, being finished.
"And how would you know, Mal? you've never had one." Evie smirked, propping herself up on her elbow.
I walked over to my bag next to the nightstand and put my book in it. "It's cause Mal doesn't need one, E." I chuckled.
"They're a waste of time." Mal added as Evie gasped loudly.
"I forgot to do Chad's homework!" She breathed out jumping to her feet. "Oh, no! Oh, no, no, no!"
"And that is exactly what I mean."
Evie sat down opening Chad's backpack right when a girl knocked on the door. "Hey, guys! I'm Lonnie. My mom's Mulan?"
"Oh, the super-independent woman who pretended to be a man for her father's life?" I ohed, sitting back down at the edge of my bed.
"Yep! Anyways, I love what you've done with Jane's hair. And I know you hate us and well, you're evil. But do you think you could do mine?" She asked Mal hopefully.
"Why would I do that for you?" Mal snapped her head to Lonnie.
"I'll pay you 50 dollars." She held a bag of coins out in her hand.
"Good answer. I need to buy more materials. Let's see, I'm thinking, we lose the bangs, maybe some layers, and. highlights." Evie stood up excitedly.
"Yeah, yeah. I want it cool." Lonnie agreed, kind of. "Like Mal's."
