WE REGROUPED under the bridge entrance, discussing how we were going to leave without our bikes.

"I don't have the remote." Jay sighed.

"Oh, I do." I shrugged, opening up my bag and pulling it out.

"What?" Evie asked, giving me a look that said: we don't steal anymore.

"I stole this a month ago, no one found out." I chuckled, tossing it over to Jay.

"Sweet." Jay winked at me making Carlos punch him in the arm.

"Dude, what the hell was that?" Carlos scoffed as we began walking to the barrier.

Jay lifted an arm, pressing the button. The force field fell and we walked through, Mal had a wave of blue power wash over her.

"Whoa, you got a little Hades thing going." Evie commented.

"Wow." Mal exclaimed looking at the ember.

"That thing packs a punch, huh?" Carlos noticed as the barrier started to close back up.

Then we heard a grunt and two thuds behind us. I turned around and saw Gil and my brother.

"We made it bro!" Gil smiled.

"We made it!" Harry grinned and they hugged. "Hey, guys. We're just coming for a wee visit."

They started to walk forward but the boys pushed them back and it went back and forth until Carlos was pushed into Mal, causing her to drop the blue rock. Harry tried to grab it but I kicked him in the torso, shoving him down onto the concrete.

Even if I stopped my brother the ember fell off and into the water, but a tentacle caught it just before it could get wet. Uma raised out of the sea, shaking off the water in her hair. "Drop something?"

"It can't get wet. Give it back before it goes out!" Mal yelled holding out a hand but she just laughed.

"Uma?" Gil and Harry both said.

"That's my name." She said before she plunged back into the water with the stone, the water rose up and then exploded. "Hi, boys."

We all turned around and saw her holding the ember, in human form. Harry laughed, walking over to her side. "Welcome back!"

"You swam off and forgot all about us." Gil said sadly walking over to her other side.

"Yeah, planning her revenger no doubt." Mal sighed crossing her arms.

"It's not all about you, Mal. I was looking for a hole in the barrier to let everybody out. And you know what I found boys? It's way better out there than we thought. There's this thing that looked like a furry rock called a coconut and fish so big you could dance on their backs. And they've been keeping it all for themselves."

"Whatever. Uma, I need that to break a spell." M ignored her words.

"Cast by Audrey, Sleeping Beauty's daughter." Carlos explained.

"Mm.. So the good guy is the bad guy?" She laughed. "Well, I might not give it back. Let's see what happens."

"Uma, it's not the time for games! People's lives are in danger." Mal yelled getting impatient.

"Guarantee me that every single villain kid who wants to, can get off the isle." She bargained, which is what we were gonna do eventually and four at a time.

"I can't do that." Mal denied and Uma held the ember over the edge of the ocean.

"Can't do that?" Uma repeated under her breath. "Well, how 'bout now!?"

"Deal! Deal." M agreed hesitantly but Uma gasped fakely almost dropping it overboard.

"Uma!" I shouted.

"Her word is good." Evie added, backing up Mal.

"Eh, I'll still keep this, for the time being." Uma smirked putting it inside her jacket. "Because if you think I trust you to save the world on your own, heh, think again. This is a job for pirates."

"Where are our bikes?" Jay asked the two boys.

"Oh, yeah. We crashed them." Gil explained as Harry imitated an explosion.

"Here's a thought." Evie suggested, stepping out as we all looked at her. "We could try to be friends. Put our history behind us and celebrate our differences. Yeah?"

No one replied and he pulled out a bag of gum from her sleeve. "Who wants gum? No?"

"Let's go." Uma said starting to walk forward.

"Ah!" Mal held out a finger and the three halted their movements. "No. I'm in charge. Let's go."

I rolled my eyes and followed the others.

We walked across the field to the school while the girls tried to call Doug, Dizzy, and Ben. I looked around and found every student, on-site, asleep.

"They're asleep, everyone." Mal said taking her phone away from her ear, Evie doing the same. "I can't get Ben."

"Or Dizzy, or Doug." Eve added.

"The signal's out." Carlos sighed.

"Is that Auradon Prep?" Celia asked pointing at the school.

"Yep." I responded popping the 'p'.

"When everybody wakes up you're going to love it." My boyfriend continued.

Harry walked over to a boy and took his wallet stealing his money. "I believe I deserve some compensation for my muscles, my while, and my role in this endeavour."

I walked over a grabbed the money from his hand. "Yeah, you do, me not dropping that hook when I had the chance."

He laughed throwing the wallet on the table and I put the money into the guy's pocket. He abruptly turned around, pointing dad's hook in my face. "Think I'm scared of you, Gothel?"

"Guys." Uma and Mal said, attracting our attention and taking his hook.

"Stop being so weird, Harry. We had a deal, remember?" I smirked, tossing the hook onto the ground with a thud and stepped over to Carlos who was talking to Dude.

"Dude, really?" Carlos scoffed.

"What? It wasn't me, I swear. Okay, it was me." Dude lied and then confessed quickly.

"Hey, buddy, do you know what happened?" I asked the dog, crouching down and scratching his neck.

"Yup. Audrey showed up. She put everybody to sleep..and then she turned some of them to-"

"Guys." Eve said and we all turned to her as Carlos held out a hand to help me back up. We walked over to her, seeing Hannah as a stone statue. "Hannah turned to stone."

"All right, everybody stay on their toes." Jay advised in case something unexpected was going to happen, now or in the future.

"Look, since we're here, let's check out the school." Uma said and the four started to walk there.

"No." Mal shook her head. "Audrey went straight for the crown, so.. I think it's safe to assume that she's gonna go for Ben and his castle next. That's where we'll go."

"Says who?"

"Says me."

"Says you and that's supposed to mean something to me?"

"Guys." Evie stopped their bickering.

"I don't understand why you'd rather see a school, it's boring. A castle is a castle." I sighed, rubbing my face with a hand.

"To the castle then."
