Wedding Bells Ringing

The news of finding yet another dead body in my neighbors house has me thinking I should move, then I see it was Richard Lincoln himself. I think that house needs torn down. I am going to see about buying it and tearing it down. It apparently was left to the Steele Sextuplets in Elena Lincoln's will, but it somehow wasn't listed in the estate. So they don't want it at all after finding more about it. I tell them I am interested in buying it and knocking down. The problem is is that it is a historical building. The dungeon was part of the original building along with the tunnels so it can't be knocked down. If I can't knock it down I don't want it. Elliott however came up with another idea. Make it a haunted house and remodel it for that purpose. He and his people offered to buy it from the Steele's. Anastasia signed first and the others followed soon after. Gary had to sign a power of attorney for his signature to allow his part of the house to be sold. Elliott offered a quick closing amount. The Steele family wanted it out if their hands quickly.

We started on the house right away at first it seemed that the house was haunted. We found all the tunnels and even found some very odd rooms in the place. So we opened all the curtains and brought daylight inside. I looked at the furniture and laughed. I guess Elena had a sense of humor because the house looked like what you would see in a haunted house furniture wise. Bright red to hide bloody stains. We had to have a thorough cleaning done and they had to sign NDA's and background checks. I found a safe and we got it open and it was full of cash and jewelry so we had to stop and take inventory of the whole safe. It has a brand new wedding ring set including the man's band. Ray decided to handle the situation this time and he had the sextuplets power of attorney to handle dividing equally. I offer him half the cost of the wedding rings and he takes it. The set cost a million plus so he sells it to me for five hundred thousand dollars.

So you asking Kate to marry you?
Elliott
I am indeed. Do you think she will like this set?
Ray
Just don't tell her you got it from here. I don't think it would go over well. He hands me the contents of the safe and I start looking through the documents and find out she had deed to other places and bank accounts out of the country. What strikes me speechless when I see something that needs to be given to the authorities immediately. I tell Elliott to let me know if they find anything else.
Elliott
Ray turned white when he was looking at those files. He said they need to be given to the authorities immediately. We go through the house and look for anything else Ray brought some special equipment to find other things hidden behind walls. I should have asked him or Jason if they could check this out earlier because we found a lot if tunnels and two more safes and another dungeon and what looked like jail cells. A brink with the date 1714 January 1. We empty the safes and we find more documents. Everything is given to the authorities that needs to be. All documents have been given to them they don't need to have the rest of it. I pocket the rings and he leaves to take the documents to have them examined and to turn over the documents to the cops.

Elliott wants me to meet him at the Lincoln's house as he calls the haunted house. I drive up and meet Elliott at the front door. He opens the door and he has added a squeak to it opening and closing. Then he leads me through the house and into a scary dining room. He gets down on one knee and asks me to marry him. I hit him and tell him yes but he lucked a horrible place to propose to me. Then he opens the ring box showing an engagement ring and two matching wedding bands. I can't believe the size and quality of the diamond. I accept it and tell him we need to leave this place now. Suddenly a loud scream shatters the silence and it continues. We go searching for the sound.
Elliott
I pull Kate behind me and go to the sound of the screaming. In a section behind a newly discovered safe we find a young girl behind a safe in a room that has been stocked with canned food, bottled water and a bathroom, the bed is built into the wall and her chains only give her enough slack to get to each of these things. I now have to call the police. The girl is in shock and can't speak. Now I have to check behind all the safes. Kate tries to calm her down but she is too traumatized to know we are trying to help her. We can't get any light into the room. I check for a light switch and finally find it above the door frame it is a recessed button. We find rooms just like this but those thank God are empty and stocked just like the original one and the light switch above the door frames. These were not in the original house plans lol
The police arrive and we work on getting the chains taken off of the girl. The EMT's had to sedate the girl so they could get her to the hospital.

Wow you can't get a better story line. I am surprised we heard her scream at all. Then we hear it again, but we can't find the screamer this time. I believe Elliott has a truly haunted house. I tell him I will marry him but never come back into this place again.
I research the house and there are stories that raise the hair on the back if my neck. The cops bring in something that discovers any body warmth then they check for bodies in the walls. They find three bodies who are now mummified. Now they want to check the grounds for graves.
