Tony and Kat soon left the compound and flew over to Norway in order to get into the Nexus. They landed down and walked inside, Kat standing there with her gun at her side
"A hacker who's faster than Ultron? He could be anywhere and as this is the centre of everything. I'm just a guy looking for a needle in the worlds biggest haystack" Tony explained
"How do you find it?" A woman asked
"It's pretty simple. You bring a magnet" Tony answered
"Oh I'm decrypting nuclear codes and you don't want me to, come and get me" Tony said while the two others took pictures of Tony
"What was the point in me coming exactly?" Kat asked
"Extra security" Tony shrugged as he kept looking doing whatever it was he was doing.
After a while the two left, making it back to the compound and went into the lab where Bruce was. The two spoke for a while before Clint came back with the Cradle
"Where is Steve and Nat?" Kat asked him
"Steve told me to leave... Nat got taken" Clint said
"What?" Kat asked
"Ultron grabbed her" Clint said
"Kat, go work it out on a punching bag" Tony said and Kat walked off the the gym down below them. She kicked a bag until the seam ripped and the stand poured out the bottom. She shook her head before she went upstairs and cleaned herself up as she heard a lot of comotion from downstairs. As she walked in, Thor was lighting up the cradle and it burst open. A figure stood there before leaping at Thor and threw it out the lab windows.
"Kat" Clint said from downstairs
"Let him go" Kat shook her head before she walked with Wanda down to the main area
"I am sorry, that was odd" It said, sounding like Jarvis.
"Thank you"
"Thor, you helped create this?" Steve asked
"I had a vision, a whirlpool that sucks in all hopes of life and at its centre is that" Thor explained
"What the gem?" Bruce asked
"It's the Mind Stone. One of the six infinity stones, the greatest power in the universe, unparalleled in its destructive capabilities"
"Then why would you bring-"
"Because Stark is right" Thor answered Steve before he got to finish his question
"Oh, it's definitely the end times" Bruce said
"For sure about to die" Kat nodded
"The Avengers can not defeat Ultron" Thor said
"Not alone" It added
"Why does your Vision sound like Jarvis?" Steve asked
"We reconfigured Jarvis's matrix to create something new" Tony answered
"I think I've had my fill of new" Steve said
"You think I'm a child of Ultron" Vision spoke up
"You're not?"
"I'm not Ultron, I'm not Jarvis. I am... I am" He kept repeating
"A toaster" Kat muttered, makimh Tony hold back a small laugh
"I looked in your head and saw annihilation" Wanda said
"Look again" Vision said to her
"Her seal of approval means jack to me" Clint said
"Their powers, the horros in our head, ultron himself! They all came from the mindstone and they're nothing compared to what it can unleash but on our side..." Thor told the team
"Is it? Are you? On our side?" Steve asked
"I don't think it's that simple" Vision answered
"It better get real simple real soon" Clint said
"I am on the side of life. Ultron isn't. He will end it all" Vision told them
"What's he waiting for?" Tony asked
"You"
"Where?" Bruce asked
"Sokovia. He's got Nat there, too" Clint said
"You found her?" Kat asked and he nodded
"Oh thank god, I would hate to throw her a funeral, especially so soon" Kat sighed in relief
"If we're wrong about you, if you're the moster that ultron made you to be..." Bruce started
"What will you do?" Vision asked
"Ask you to kill us quickly so we aren't stuck waiting around?" Kat answered
"Okay, speaking permissions have been removed unless they are helpful" Tony told Kat
"I'm not your child" Kat argued
"Stop acting like one" Tony told her
"I don't want to kill Ultron. He's unique, and he's in pain, but that pain will roll over the Earth. So, he must be destroyed. Every form he has built, every trace of his presence on the net. We have to act now, and not one of us can do it without the others. Maybe I am a monster; I don't think I'd know if I were one. I am not what you are, and now what you intended. So, there may be no way to make you trust me, but we need to go" Vision said as he handed Thor his Mjölnir. Thor took it with a confused look as Vision walked off.
"Right... well done" Thor said as he walked off as well
"Three minuets, get what you need" Steve said. Kat walked off and up towards the lab only for Bruce to quickly follow her
"Kat, can we talk about Nat... sort of involves you actually" Bruce said
"You don't need my permission to run off with my sister" Kat grumbled a little as she kept walking
"No, it's about the Red Room" He said, making her pause
"Sorry, didn't mean to be so blunt... I just heard about a graduation ceremony... is it true?" He asked
"What did Nat say?" Kat asked
"Sterilisation so you can focus on missions" He said and Kat nodded
"Yeah... well she says Sterilisation but it really is them doing a full hysterectomy. Not a single aspect gets left behind. You are like 16 at max when it happens... also means you can use your body to get information in every way without the side effects of pregnancy and you also don't really experience much of the fun anyway because of the lack of hormones and that" Kat explained as she picked up her sniper and a few other things and walked downstairs with him again
"I'm sorry"
"Don't be. I really don't want your pitty for it" She shook her head a little
"I don't want to sound harsh... I just... it is a topic I don't talk about much. It wasn't voluntary for any of us and I hated knowing someone close to be... she was younger... she went through it and I couldn't protect her from that" Kat said with small breaks
"I understand" Bruce nodded slowly
"Don't tell anyone I have a weak spot. It ruins my strong character I have built" Kat laughed
