A few weeks later

Kat was sat inside her new apartment near the Triskellion. She logged onto her computer and saw the many messages she missed and also a call from Tony.
"So you are alive then" Tony said as he answered her call

"I have been busy learning more than anything. What do you need?" Kat asked, having a slightly less of a Russian accent on her

"Well, I am having a little get together over here in Malibu, wanna come?" Tony asked her

"Um... sure... when?" Kat asked

"Three days time. I'm sending the jet to pick up Rogers, Nat and Barton so it can collect you as well" He told her

"Alright... I'll make some sort of effort to attend" Kat nodded

"Good, see you then" Tony said before ending the call not long before there was a knock at her door

"Go away, I'm not here" Kat said

"Open the door or it gets kicked down and I am not paying for a replacement" Nat yelled

"It's open" Kat sighed and Nat opened it up and walked in with Steve

"Why is your door unlocked?" Nat asked

"Who would be stupid enough to try attack me anyway?" Katty asked her

"She has a point" Steve said

"Don't support this. Kat, we are heading out to find one of these old SHIELD bases that Fury told me not to go near, wanna come?" Nat asked

"Tonight?"

"Yeah" Nat nodded

"Ugh fine" Katty nodded

"Cool, grab your gear" Nat smirked. Katarina walked to her unit, scanning her finger and it opened up to her stuff. She grabbed herself a few weapons and shoved it into a bag

"What even is in this place anyway?" Katarina asked as she grabbed her coat and keys

"Mostly old tech but I have a feeling it can be some of our more personal stuff from Ohio" Nat said

"You told him then?" Kat asked as she walked outside with the two, locking her apartment up

"Yeah... he kept pestering on the way here but Barton is downstairs with the car running" Nat answered

"Alright" Katarina sighed, tying her keys to her belt and they then walked downstairs. They all jumped into the car, Steve and Kat sat in the back while Nat and Clint were in the front
"Who would have guessed we would be on a road trip so soon" Katty smirked a little

"Lets just hope we have a job left after this" Steve said

"Fury literally doesn't expect anything less from us so don't worry" Nat said

"This isn't the first time we have done stupid stuff like this" Clint explained as they kept driving

"Yes, when us 3 were back in America for the first time together, we travelled to these huge towers and broke in for the fun of it and to also steal the information on me and Nat" Katarina laughed

"You three are a handful" Steve shook his head

"Records show that you and that Barnes man are not that different" Kat said

They soon arrived at the spot Clint said was out of sight. Katarina got herself out the car and placed her knives in her holster and putting her rifle on her back
"So we are expecting company then?" Kat asked

"A little" Clint nodded

"Lets go then" Katty said as she walked with them towards a section of the fence. Katarina and Natasha climbed over it first, landing down and were greeted by two guards. Kat took on one, carefully knocking them out and Nat did the same while Steve and Clint climbed over. They snuck inside, Kat took out a few alarms before they went off while Clint covered up the cameras and they all eventually managed to get further inside. They reached a room with a small label on it

"Ohio family, 1995" Steve read, Kat kicked the door down and walked inside, looking at multiple things from her childhood. She found the car, sitting inside it and saw the song tape

"Hey, Nat... look" Katty said as she pushed it in and it started playing American Pie. Nat smiled as she then continued to look around

"This was all yours?" Steve asked

"Sort of... we use to have this family many years ago but it isn't too important" Kat said before getting out the car and to a few lockers, labelled with names
'Katarina, Natasha, Yelena'
on separate ones. Kat opened Yelenas and saw a lot of pictures as well as the pony teddy

"What is it?" Clint asked

"Nothing" Kat shook her head, closing it but damaging the door so it wouldn't open again before opening her locker and seeing everything from her childhood, including some sort of fake birth certificate
"I remember getting these made" Kat laughed as she pulled it out, seeing Melina and Alexei's names on the document

"Wow" Nat said as she look at it

"People are coming down the hall, we might want to hurry" Kat suddenly said

"Get in car, duck down until they leave" Clint said and the 4 got into the car after switching the music off, ducking down out of the window view. Katty got out a small device and placed it on the end of her rifle eye scope, being able to look through the car and saw 5 men at the door. She tapped Nat and signaled it without taking her eyes off

"Maybe the door fell down" One spoke up suddenly

"The music?" The other asked

"Probably hearing things. Just leave it stupid" One muttered, they left and the 4 got out the car quietly

"Okay, so lets just go back" Katty nodded, taking the music tape and the 4 ran out the facility and to the car and started going back home

"Why didn't we just fight?" Nat suddenly asked

"Because you two already knocked someone out" Steve stated

"Oh well" Kat sighed as she then put her stuff away.
"If you really knew us, that isn't the worst thing we have done" Kat shrugged before they saw several cars surround them

"You three" Fury shouted

"Oh shit" Nat said as they saw him walk upto the car

"Why are you breaking into places I tell you not to go to? Let alone dragging Rogers into this" Fury asked as Clint casually rolled the window down

"Someone broke into a place? Wow... I um... never expected that" Katty said, nodding slowly
