I woke up in my loud annoying alarm because it's already 8:00 in the morning and I have my class at 11:00 but I have no energy to move.
There's nothing special happened in my week aside from Elicton giving me his manga, I finally get up and get myself ready for school.
Brent haven't texted or called me for a while and I'm kinda worried about it.
My phone rang as soon as I checked it and in my surprise it was Ashley, my cousin.
"Hey, did mom called you last week?" She said and I remained silent as I don't want to talk to her.
"Look if you want your life to be at peace then why don't you follow my Mom? You don't have any parents to correct you aside for your family. Tsk" she's nagging like I need some guidance from her parents while I'm more stable than them.
"Yeah beat my bank account first" I said and ended up the call.
Ashley Samantha, the real spoiled brat in our family even my grandparents can't stand with her attitude. And speaking of my grandparents kamusta na kaya sila? It's been a year since I visited them and as usual they welcomed me like their own daughter, I missed Dada and Nana so much.
The door bell rang and my soul left my body. Sino nanaman to? Palagi nalang may nang iistorbo sa me time ko.
As soon as I opened the door my eyes went big dahil hindi ko inalala na sya ang makikita ko. The person that I didn't expect to see me here in my house.
"Ummm hi? I just checked you out if andito ka pa, my friend of mine stays here in your neighborhood so dumaan nalang ako" he said
"Elicton? Kakatapos ko lang mag ayos I'm good to go." I said at dinampot ang bag ko.
"I don't have a car para ihatid ka, I'm sorry" Hiya nyang sabi and to be honest I don't mind kung wala syang sasakyan and I'm good din naman pag commute.
"I didn't asked hahahahaha. Don't worry di ko din naman ginagamit yang sasakyan, just incase of a long trip lang yan and road trip with my friends" mahaba kong tugon, pansin ko lang nagsasayang na ako ng laway pag dating sa kaniya.
"Baka kasi wala kang energy mag lakad" napairap nalang ako sa sinabi nya.
"By the way same unit kayo diba ni Brent? Balita ko hindi daw sya pumapasok sa training nya" I said dahil nga ay hindi kami nag uusap ni Brent and I don't know why.
"He's absent since Tuesday and hindi ko alam if papasok sya ngayon, medyo mailap na nga yon samin and I don't know why" he said and we stopped in front of my car, My baby BMW X3.
I opened the passenger seat and gestured him that he can enter the car, he was hesitant at first dahil kakasabi ko lang na hindi ako gumagamit ng sasakyan in just a regular days.
"I thought-" I cut him off when he was about to asked me.
"Nah, nakakahiya naman sa bisita if maglakakad lang kami diba?" I shut the door para hindi na sya umangal pa.
As soon as I start the engine silence swallowed us, alam kong awkward para sa kaniya but wala ako sa mood para mag commute ngayon and it's all because of Ashley.
Sa kalagitnaan ng byahe ay tumunog ang aking tyan and I was embarrassed. I forgot dahil hindi ako naka kain ng breakfast.
"Hungry? Here eat this ako gumawa nyan" he said while giving me his sandwich and banana milk. Pansin ko lang ang daming baon na banana milk tong lalaking to.
"Daming stock ng banana milk ah" I said akmang kukunin ko na ang banana milk pero agad nya din to binawi. He just put the straw and handle it back to me.
"It's my favorite so palagi akong may dala." He said while reading his notes.
"Pansin ko lang you are living alone? I'm not a stalker okay! Sadyang mahilig lang akong mag observe." Sabi nya
"My parents died when I was 14 and I'm living alone for 7 years." Seryoso kong sabi habang naka tuon lamang ang aking atensyon sa daan, I'm not bothered by those question and hindi naman gaano ka sensitive sa ganong mga topic because I already moved on though the pain is still there and I can't do anything about it.
"Sorry for asking. You're so strong tin." He said with pure sympathy and I hate it. I don't want people to pity me that's why tinatago ko lahat ng mga problema ko as long as kinakaya ko pa.
"Of course I'm Valentine and I'm strong" I smirked and stopped the car dahil nakarating na kami sa school.
Pagka baba ko ay laking gulat ko na andun din sina kuya Hiro at kuya Miguel sakto din ang pag baba ni Elicton kaya napako ang tingin nila kay Eli.
"Himala sinipag kang mag drive ngayon?" Sabi ni kuya Miguel na patuloy pa ding naka tingin kay Elicton.
"Let's talk later Tin" sabi ni kuya Hiro at tumalikod na. Alam kong hindi ito tungkol sa kay Elicton, nararamdaman ko na may mga nangyayari nanamang hindi maganda.
"Si Khiera pala nasaan?" Tanong ko kay kuya Miguel na nag aayos pa ng sasakyan nya.
"She's dating with her books in the library, by the way sasama ka samin bukas wag kang aayaw. Will chat the details later sa telegram mo, better check it. Bye!" He said and turn his back. Aalis na sana ako kaso humirit pa si kuya Miguel
"Nice BMW, buti di kinakalawang sa bahay nyo hahahahaha" pahabol nyang sabi at kumaripas na ng takbo dahil alam nyang sasapokin ko nanaman ito ng libro.
I just realized na kasama ko pa pala si Elicton kaya lumingon ako sa kaniya.
"Sorry they're not that rude, stressed lang talaga sila dahil graduating na." I said and plastered a small smile while locking my car.
"By the way Tin, thanks for the ride!" He said and patted my head and after that we part ways dahil magkaibang unit kami. At dahil wala pa naman yung prof namin ay napag pasyahan kong dumaan muna sa classroom ni Brent.
I'm just right here looking at him in the mini window of their door. I saw him spacing out while looking at the window, life must be hard for him and I want to reach him out but I don't know how.
"Hindi yan kikibo kapag tinititigan mo lang yan" gulat akong napalingon at hinanap kung saan nanggaling ang boses na iyon.
And it was Khiera, I forgot na malapit lang pala dito yung classroom nya.
"Hiro wants to talk to you about business but he's not mad okay? Hope you are not bothered by his attitude lately." She said and I just shrugged my shoulders dahil hindi ko nga iyon na notice.
"Baka ikaw" pabiro kong sabi and she just rolled her eyes.
"Stop staring at Brent, go reach him out and please don't wait for him to talk to you dahil obvious na kailangan ka niya" she said while looking at me, habang ako ay patuloy na nakatingin kay Brent.
Bell rang and I just stormed out dahil napalingon si Brent samin and I didn't get the chance to bid my goodbye for Khiera, I know she won't get mad about that.
As soon as I arrived in my seat I felt guilty about earlier.
Brent you can ask for my help, I can't afford to witness your downfall. I don't want to see you struggling, you're the only friend that I have back then when we we're still kids, you are the one who build me up again. I was once been lost to my home and then I found home with you.
