"Bakit?!" He yelled while holding his laughter. "feeling highschool lang? Hahahahaha" I said at tumawa lang din naman ito. Our class seems peaceful maliban sa katabi ko na daldal ng daldal sa akin. "Alam mo if wala kang balak makinig ako meron" I said at irita akong napa lingon sa kaniya.
"As if naman na nakikinig ka dyan, may nakikinig na na manga ang binabasa?" He said, tama naman sya hahaha. I'm reading manga while in class dahil mahilig akong mag aral or mag advance reading sa bahay so medyo tinatamad na ako pag nasa school.
"Are you free ba next Sunday? Airing kasi ng MHA movie so baka gusto mong manuod" he said. MHA movie is an anime movie titled "My hero academia" one of my fave but not so fave anime so hindi ko alam if sasama ako or not.
"I'll chat you if sasama ako" I said at bumaling na ang tuon ko sa prof namin dahil baka mapagalitan pa kami.
Last sub at si Brent naman ang aking classmate, so far naging tahimik na ang buhay ko at tanging mga tanong lang ni Brent about sa topic ang kumukulit sa akin. After class ay nauna na itong lumabas dahil nga may training pa ito at para makasama sya sa amin mamaya, Kuya Hiro along with kuya Miguel are our school varsity kasama na doon si Brent. Kaya welcome sya sa aming apat na magkakaibigan dahil magkaibigan na din sila Kuya, ewan ko lang kay Khiera pano sila nagkasundo ni Brent, as far as I know naging magkaibigan sila the time when my parent's die and keep accompanying me. Speaking of, I really miss staying in Khiera's place but I don't think I can stay with them now dahil mahirap na baka sila pa pagbuntongan ng galit ng pamilya ko.
I was peacefully fixing my bag and those books na hindi organized sa bookshelf ng room namin nang mapansin ko na naka tali pala yung bag ko sa upuan, aba kaya pala tahimik yung gago na Brent na yon! Tinali pala yung bag ko.
Nang makuha ko na ang pagka tali ay lalabas na sana ako ng makita ko si Ashley sa labas ng pintuan ng classroom namin. Hobby kong magpaiwan sa classroom hanggang sa wala ng tao para hindi gaano ka crowded sa labas kapag uwian kasi siksikan ang students sa hallway so I decided to let it subside first before going out. And I think it was a bad idea for today dahil naabutan ako ni Ashley.
"What do you want?" I asked without throwing a single look, I'm just busy fixing my bag.
"Why don't you let Mom handle the company? As if na kaya mo!" She yelled and I'm not surprised about it. I just remained calm while putting my books back on my bag, but she suddenly got my pencil case and opened it, the next thing I knew all my highlighters and pens are on the floor. Still I remained calm and pick up my things. "Look at you kneeling down on me, dapat lang! And you know what? Bagay yan sa mga walang magulang okay? So know your place!" She said and that hits me. Shit if I can only be calm for the rest of my life I will be happy but sorry dear, I got anger issues from my mom and that's the greatest gift to defend myself.
Tumayo ako at binalik ang aking pencil case sa aking bag. "You know what Ashley? Nagkakaganyan ka dahil naiinggit ka sakin okay? Alam mo ba bakit ka naiinggit?" Matapang akong tumingin sa kaniya, di hamak na mas matangkad sya sakin ng konti pero hindi ako nag papintag sa kaniya, nauubos na ang pasensya ko sa kaniya, "Dahil wala akong magulang but I can afford to buy you a house on my own! Should I know my place? Baka ikaw Ashley, you should learn how to respect people who are greater than you. If naiinggit ka sakin cut it out dahil wala kang dapat ika inggit sakin dahil wala nga akong magulang diba? Ikaw meron, or should I say kahit papaano ay meron kang magulang even though they don't acknowledge your existence!" I said dahil nauubos na ang pasensya ko. She became furious at mas lalo kong nagustohan at ginanahan na asarin sya.
"Ooops did I say too much?" I said. "Time will come and everything you have will be mine!" She said at aakmang sasampalin ako, I will gladly accept that slap for being brat to her, she's my cousin and I will not physically hurt her dahil mas matanda ako sa kaniya kahit papaano. I just closed my eyes and calmly wait for the impact. When someone grab her hands and aggressively pulled it away. "Cut it out Ashley, you're still the same. Can't you have at least give yourself some character development?" It was Brent, he just quietly picked up my bag and drag me out in our classroom.
Nakayuko lang ako dahil sa guilt at sakit, I felt guilty sa mga sinabi ko kay Ashley and at the same time ay nasasaktan ako sa mga sinabi nya sa akin. I know any time soon things will become more chaotic for me I at least want to take a rest from this fucking problems for a while and thanks for my Kuyas dahil feeling ko ay alam nila na mangyayari to that's why Kuya Miguel wants me to go with them later.
Nang makarating na kami sa parking lot ay nakita ko sina Kuya miguel together with Khiera and Kuya Hiro, they just looked at me and Brent just gestured me to get inside the car. Nakita ko din na sya na ang kumausap sa mga kaibigan namin. I just received a text message from Khiera.
"Can you still come over later? If not don't force yourself <3" she texted and of course sasama ako mamaya.
"Yes sasama ako don't mind me I really need to unwind later" I replied and turned off my phone. I just realized na nasa passenger seat ako at hindi sa driver's seat. Gulat akong sumakay si Brent sa driver's seat. "I'll drive, wala din naman akong dalang kotse so don't worry" he said and started the engine.
"Brent?" I said while staring blankly on my phone. "Why don't we runaway?" I said and heaved a big sigh.
And suddenly Brent pulled over because of the red light, and said.
"Running away with you? That's the only thing I would gladly do"
