"Tin di ka ba papasok? Anong oras na" those voice keep echoing in my head.

Those voice that I wish I can hear again, I didn't expect that will be our last, I hope he's doing okay.

Bigat man ang pakiramdam ngunit pinilit kong iminulat ang aking mga mata, nararamdaman ko pa ang singaw ng init sa aking mga mata.

I saw a guy sleeping while his hands are over his head. I gently patted his head.

"Didn't expect you'll look over for me Mr. Elicton?" I said, I can't see his face dahil nga naka yuko ito sa gilid ko so I just gently pat his head in order for him to wake up.

"Elicton?" He said as he raised his head and furrowed his brows in order for me to realize that it was not Elicton.

"Kuya hiro?!" I yelled because he is the least expected person that I think of.

"Bakit ka nandito?" I said at napa ayos ng upo. "The nurse called me dahil nga ako at si Dad ang guardian mo so ako na lang ang nag bantay sayo dito." He said while fixing his hair, tuwid syang napaupo at pinanliitan ako ng mata. "Elicton ha? Sino yun?" Sabi nya sabay taas baba ng mga kilay niya kaya napairap na lang ako at umiwas ng tingin.

Right, why did I expect him to wait for me to wake up? We're not that super close and we don't often see each other in school.

I heaved a heavy sigh and tossed my car keys to Kuya Hiro, I want to rest in my house, school clinics and hospitals suffocates me.

"Drive me home kuya, don't tell Brent" I said.

"How did you know na nandito yung sasakyan mo?" He said dahil nga iniwan ito sa kanila before kami pumunta sa tagaytay at dumiretso dito sa school.

"I saw your butler earlier so I assume nandito ang sasakyan ko I know you have duplicate of my car but use mine instead" I said at tumayo na, I felt a little dizzy but it's bearable, I texted Brent that I came home early alam ko namang alam nya na to dahil medyo madaming chismosa sa classroom.

"Brent is in the office" Kuya Hiro said as we are heading to the parking lot.

"Who asked?" Mataray kong sabi. "It's written all over your face idiot" pairap nyang tugon at binuksan ang passenger seat kaya sumakay na din ako, isang tahimik na byahe hanggang makarating kami sa bahay, at ng makarating na kami ay agad akong naglinis ng katawan at nag palit ng damit, my body feels so heavy as my temperature won't go down.

I ask kuya Hiro to leave and not to bother me I also asked him not to tell Khiera and Kuya Miguel about this, I don't want to disturb them dahil nasa higher years na sila ng college so talagang kailangan na nilang mag focus sa acads.

I want to sleep but I can't, there is no medicines in the kitchen I think I forgot to restock my needs last week dahil ang daming nangyari, I need to be okay within 24 hours dahil Finals na namin after 2 days so I really need to be active in school.

Umakyat na lang ako sa kwarto at nag suot ng hoodie dahil nilalamig na ako, I studied the subjects on my first day of exam at bukas nalang yung natira. After spending almost 5 hours of studying ay nakaramdam na ako ng gutom, as I checked my phone I almost choke when I see the time it's almost 7:30pm at hindi ko ito namalayan.

I heard my door bell rang and I rushed through the gate dahil baka mga package ko ito na binili but I was shocked it was Brent.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He said and check my temperature, Hinila ko nalang sya papasok ng bahay dahil ang lamig sa labas. Dineretso ko nalang sya sa kusina dahil nagugutom na ako.

"Food" Hina kong sabi at napayuko nalang ako sa harap ng mesa dahil ang sakit ng ulo ko. I heard him chuckled and opened the fridge, He cooked quietly as I can smell the essence of the food that he is cooking, his wife will be very lucky.

"Here, eat up and take a rest, I bought you some medicines that you need" mahaba niyang tugon at binigay sa akin ang mga gamot. "This soup smells like home" I said while staring at the pumpkin soup like how my Mom usually cook when I am sick. I wiped my tiny tears and eat the whole soup I even ask for an extra bowl of it, how great to have Brent.

"Bakit di ka tumawag sakin?" He said habang naghuhugas ng pinggan. "Nahimatay ako so pano kita tatawagan?" I said
"Can't you call me after you wake up?" He said and I just said sorry.

Umakyat na lang ako sa kwarto at nararamdaman kong nakasunod din ito sa akin kaya hinayaan ko nalang ito. I jumped to my bed as I can feel my back hurts so I faced the ceiling and in my shock, I saw him staring at me while opening the fever patch and put it on my forehead. "You need to sleep" he said at kumuha ng comforter sa kabilang kwarto at inilatag ito sa kwarto ko.

"I'll sleep here" he said and I didn't respond, I can't sleep but I need to.

"Brent? Still up?" I said "hmmm?" He respond so I didn't bother to ask him dahil parang tulog na ito.

"Eli and you are really close huh" my brow furrowed dahil sa sinabi nya, "what do you mean?" I said "you guys are really close, just like how we used to be" he said, I can't see his face but I can feel that he is serious right now. "Aren't you curious why I know him?" He said, I asked this before but He told me that they are high school friends so I didn't bother. "Elicton and I are high school friends but there's still deeper than that" did I hear it right? So kilala nya na si Elicton before that?

"You can't really remember him?" He said, I didn't bother to get up but I still facing the ceiling with puzzled thoughts inside my head. "Remember who?" I said. "Our childhood friend, your nanny's son" He said and sadness got into me, I was thinking about him when I passed out, It's been 7 years since I didn't see him. The day that my parents passed away is the day that they left so I got no connections with him after that.

"Xyrus" he said and my heart beat, beating fast. I missed him, he's our best friend after all.

"I don't want to talk about him" I said and tried to close my eyes. "You found him unconsciously Liza" He said and I get up immediately. "what do you mean?" I said while facing him, he also get up with a faint smile.

"You found him, you found our childhood friend Xyrus" He said and I still don't get it.

"Xyrus Elicton Ramos"

After hearing those, I can't help but to cry.
